City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

As a late former manager of Liverpool once said: Some think football is a matter of life and death, well it is much more serious than that. Cults need biased agenda feeding to them all the time.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Exactly. In UK law surely accusations need proof. Very little difference between rival fans calling us cheats without proof and the PL doing the same.

    Where's Alvarez?

Maybe but the stress mark refers to the word not the letter A unlike the ñ which is a separate letter from n.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

From a financial point of view yes but the PL controlling clubs are not getting their "entitled" share of the Golden goose as long as City keep going from strength to strength. For some reason they feel City are the recipients not the reason for their new found popularity and therefore global...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Mr K has been confident that the City business model will prove to be superior to our rivals for some years now. It helps of course to win Trophies etc but when all of the Clubs lost their attendance income stream during Covid it certainly helped to be debt free. Resting on one's laurels and...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think Masters is likely to retain as much email etc messages as he can purely to show he followed the task he was employed for. Others continue to display the opposite and feel they are untouchable. Eventually this hubris will be their downfall.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Thanks for posting the details earlier. Seems unlikely they can ignore the City side of things so let's hope the PL have broken their own rules one way or another.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Maybe problems with the out of context media usage but perhaps an example to the Panel of how leaks are still happening and how the media twist its meaning?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That takes me back to my working days in Engineering. Scrap metal was an item of value so it was collected and sold. No monthly invoices brought the question what about scrap (metal turnings and flame cut scrap) ? Full disclosure alerted all to its value especially non ferrous metal So it is...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Agreed. Let's hope the PL still retain their "untouchable" feeling. After all the media control works giving their hubris a shot in the arm.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Perhaps a suggestion to Mr M that he should be prepared for such an action.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As you say compare the risk of this investment with the risk of the proven AD investment of our owner and there is only one winner. Some more evidence to prove biased rule selection by PL.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

The more they try the more obvious their reasons to do so. The original reasons are lines of attack that are plainly focused on City but accidentally entrap other Clubs. Now their "mad dogs crap" approach to changing rules to target us simply shows desperation to get maximum public sympathy via...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Good point but his fairly recent financial court victory against I think RM being CEO of the AD construction company shows he can legally prove as well as talk.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Perhaps a 10 percent tax to the PL to help them make legal mistakes?

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

An example of how their hubris allows them to think they can ignore the no leaks rule but everyone else must obey the rule. Our legal team must be shaking their heads in disbelief.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

They may be 2 different allegations but it appears that if evidence is needed and not just possibilies / probabilities then the 115 one has very little evidence from PL. However the City allegation has a mountain of evidence that keeps being added to. Quite a dilemma for the 115 Panel and the...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Last para really be a good point. A bit like Mr M against the HOC they will have difficulty simply disregarding any points City brought up legally. Whilst I think the Panel will be fair I remember that despite overwhelming points in City favour one of the CAS voted against a 3 - 0.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I'm sure our owners are globally aware of any of our enemies dark traits. Having lent billions to banks our owner will be all too aware of the money laundering that goes on. Our enemies are the ones with secret money to hide as the Spurs former owner recently found out.
