    It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Agreed. It's too early to tell. Didn't sound like he helped himself by pissing Pep off by his conditioning after the world Cup, but hopefully he keeps himself fit now and ends the season well. You would hope he's desperate to make an impact.

    7 | Joao Cancelo - 2022/23 Performances

He was incredible at times last season, but hasn't been the same player this year and has looked vulnerable defensively. If his attitude has been a problem, which appears to be the case, then it makes sense to move him on. That does mean we'll be light in arguably our weakest position in terms...

Arsenal (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

One of the worst sets of supporters in the league. The way they treated Wenger, the way they treated Emery. Lockdown was the best thing that happened to them and West Ham, because the atmosphere was toxic before then and both clubs turned it around in empty stadiums. A game that sticks in my...

    Media thread 2022/23

''Don't write us off just yet''. It doesn't come more biased than that. The bloke is a bellend. Shame it's too much to ask for us to get neutral pundits covering our games, no matter what channel we're on.

    Metrolink to / from Etihad

Just came on to post exactly the same thing mate. Had to let 3 trams go at Brooklands as there was no chance I could get on. All single trams... on a match day and Chinese New Year. Absolute jokers running that network. Lots of parents with young kids having to cram on to a packed tram, or...

    TV Series

I really enjoyed it. Very atmospheric. Have you seen the film Boiling Point? Stephen Graham is in it, again set in a restaurant and filmed in one take. Different characters and dynamics to The Bear, but similarly intense. Well worth a watch, if you've not seen it already.

    Psoriatic Arthritis survey part 2

Mate, congratulations! This is fantastic work and you should be very proud, well done. I remember exchanging posts when this thread was first shared and it's really interesting to read the findings, a lot of which are very relatable. I've shared the article with family and close friends as I...

    Spurs (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Yeah, I was following that and noticed Rico giving it back to him as well, which was good to see, but Hojberg was definitely looking for a reaction and trying to provoke him. It definitely needed a senior City player to step in and give Hojberg something back, but didn't happen unfortunately.

    Spurs (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Thanks for posting. I love the passion. It reminds me of the All or Nothing documentary when he tells the players ''some of you play better when you hate me''. The bloke is a genius and he knows what he's doing. He knows that Arsenal have that desire for a league title because its been so...

    Pep’s Spurs (H) Post-Match Interview

I really rate Ake, but as you say, he isn't a left back. He gives his all and there's no doubting that, but if Spurs had anything about them they'd have have exploited all the space he was leaving in behind him all second half. Better teams will.

    Spurs (H) - Thu 19th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

I remember one of our games getting called off a few years ago and when it was announced on SSN they said ''sorry for everyone that had planned a day in front of the TV watching the matches''. No mention of home and especially away fans who had already set off to the game and would have to turn...

    Spurs (H) - Thu 19th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

One of my mates works in town, says there's not been any snow near his office. Hopefully there's not much if any near the stadium?

And I don't agree with that in the workplace!

    Spurs (H) - Thu 19th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

Agreed. Would love to see the chaos Alvarez and Haaland can cause when played together. Alvarez's energy and Haaland's physicality and movement should cause huge problems for defences.

    City’s New Kits

I remember buying this shirt from a shop somewhere in Heald Green that wasn't known for being a sports shop. I couldn't work out whether it was fire damaged or something as even after it had been through the wash it always had a weird smell about it. Good times.

    TV Series

The American version of The Traiters is now available on Iplayer. I hate reality TV with a passion, but really enjoyed the UK version. Its an original format for a show and reminded me a bit of the first Big Brother in that sense. The US version is everything I hate about reality TV. Quite a...

The worst thing about farcical officiating

That would explain the apparent lack of thorough VAR checks on any of our several penalty appeals. How many times do we see those incidents replayed over again in slow motion as VAR go over it. BT replayed them, but only after VAR had very quickly said no penalty.

United (A) | Post Match Thread

It was crying out for Alvarez at 1-0 City. His pressing would have pinned them back. Really frustrating he didn't feature at all. I dont get that.

United (A) | Post Match Thread

Long, long way to go. Disappointing result of course, but far to early to write us off. Keep the faith.

United (A) | Post Match Thread

Biggest shafting and worst refereeing at Old Trafford since the FA Cup game and the phantom penalty in '96. VAR meant to overrule clear and obvious errors. Linesman called it as offside. Bent as fuck. Fuck them. Hopefully this spurs us on to another title.
