VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

It did. A non penalty in my opinion and given when two PSG players had tried to deceive the ref by diving only minutes before.

    Last Film You Saw

Yep. He and Rhys Ifans in a joint sculpture would do the country proud.

    United Thread - 2023/24

Says it all. Truth is that any young manager with any real promise would likely avoid the gaff. Try telling them that though and it'd be met with 'we're Manchester United' They'll sack Ten Bob and end up with their 5th choice candidate. Probably Potter. Clowns

    United Thread - 2023/24

100% A rag at work was banging on about them getting Klopp when he announced that he was leaving the dippers. Absolutely delusional. He's a season ticket holder there too and has been for 25 years. I always thought that kind of delusion was amongst the plastics that get their snippets of...

Ticketing Compliance Manager - Man City

Wow. Our two tickets in SSL2 might both be available. I've already promised them to my mate and his boy at £35 each. Probably the reason why I'll never be rich.

WTF is Manchester looking like Moscow in Glatnost

I agree with you about the queuing. Playing devil's advocate slightly here but I wonder how many on this forum (or even this thread) miss 10-15 minutes of a game to queue at City for a pint of piss. I admit to being that kind of fool from time to time. Usually a 5:30 kick off.

    Last Film You Saw

Just watched One Life with Anthony Hopkins. A very watchable film about an unsung hero that helped save hundreds of children from going to Nazi work camps. The kind of bloke that deserves a statue.

WTF is Manchester looking like Moscow in Glatnost

I don't have breakfast in town often at all but I did go to Pollen once. It's definitely a posh place, full of out of towners and quite pricey but the food was really good. It was miles nicer than the last time I'd eaten at Koffee Pot. It's extremely difficult nowadays to find anywhere in...

WTF is Manchester looking like Moscow in Glatnost

Cafe Nero is definitely the best of the chain coffee houses in my opinion. I'm not a mad coffee drinker to be fair. A strong one in the morning and that's it really. I do like a coffee stout though

    FOC Roll Call :-)

56 isn't an FOC surely. 65 is the minimum age imo. It's also fantastic that many an FOC still have the drive and desire to continue to attend.

Another fine decision on a penalty in the PSG v Rennes game.

    Supporting Two Teams?

No idea who Andy Jacobs is but I agree. It's wrong, odd, weird and surely he's embarrassed when he tells people.

WTF is Manchester looking like Moscow in Glatnost

Yeah. Sure it was about 7 or 8 quid for a full English with toast and a brew the last time I went. Coffee Pot on Oldham Steet is a rip off

WTF is Manchester looking like Moscow in Glatnost

Rowntree's is my go to if I want a full English in town. No nonsense and reasonably priced

    Life without kids??

Sounds to me that you're the type that's motivated enough to make the most of any circumstance. That, in my eyes is success mate.

It always amuses me seeing the Trendy's queuing outside Ezra & Gill for their pumpkin on toast.

    Supporting Two Teams?

Not sure why you've got your knickers in a twist. It's a weak league regardless of attendees per capita and I wondered whether the Tartan Army had a large proportion of supporters that are all in with the national side and don't bother with domestic football, similar to what a poster on this...
