Scrapping VAT and removing charitable schools - Labour policy - do you agree with it ?

Of course it is to obtain a competitive advantage otherwise they wouldn’t bother. Let’s be frank here State Schools don’t attract the same quality of Teachers, pushy parents wanting value for money, competitive environment for the pupils, better learning environment, less disruption from the...

Scrapping VAT and removing charitable schools - Labour policy - do you agree with it ?

State schools are out of the scope of VAT so are not charged it. Where supplies are done by a Registered Trader eg repairs the VAT can be recovered by the Local Authority who commissioned the work.

How would you determine the exceptionally wealthy. Would the parents have to submit their tax returns to the school. There is always a time lag on wealth from earning it a declaring it on a Tax Return. Most people’s wealth is tied up in Capital items rather than income so asking everyone to...

As the likes of India, Brazil etc continue to grow, markets will without doubt become more competitive particularly for mass produced, low skilled products. If the Uk is to remain competitive world wide, it will need to become a high skilled, super efficient workforce. It will result in those...

Interesting post. So it’s similar to us wanting to move to a posher part of town yes? So why not try this social experiment. Take yourself and family over to Alderley Edge or Prestbury. Knock on a few doors and say we had a roof over my head, food in our mouth's but we sold up and used all our...

They get shot down, called names and it becomes personal insults in the feeding frenzy so they cannot be arsed contributing You surely don’t think the majority of posters on here reflect Society in general do you otherwise the Tories would be behind The Greens

At the risk of repeating myself, yet again and contrary to the same old posters on here who appear to know my mind better than me, I will wait and see what’s on offer next year and then decide nearer the time. It will not be on the basis of which will cost me more personally, when Labour were...

If you think the very wealthy will not exist under a Labour Government ..they will. The NHS is a bottomless pit, it will always demand more funds. I am just not sure where the money is coming from to do anything radical and potential voters will want more than “we can’t do any worse than the...

You see you cannot get your points over without reverting to foul language. Don’t you think words like self serving cunts has a bit of a mob rule about it. There will be a lot of floating voters that will need to be convinced that Labour deserve a chance and rhetoric like Tory Scum, cunts etc...

Who would I vote for, I don’t want to sound like a politician but I will genuinely listen to all the policies nearer the time. I won’t vote Green, Liberal or Independent.. I am at an age where none of them can do me real damage and financially I will be better off under Labour particularly if...

    The Labour Party

Well Well time will obviously tell. We are now operating in a different environment since they were last in power. Labour have already said they cannot commit to more spending on the NHS and as anyone who ever uses it there are massive problems. Trying to bring changes to a workforce that is...

I have said on many occasions they all pee n the same pot. You may think Labour politicians will look after the working classes but there are so few of them from that background they are more comfortable with their own middle class friends. Who ever gets in it will be business as usual just...
