    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Not worried at all about Haaland. Bit rusty. A goal to get him going. Monday was certainly not the game to judge him anyways. Stop hyping him like we can’t do without him. We can. We have loads of brilliant players. And stop bullying him ffs. He probably puts away a few vs Everton. I’m sure he...

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Stop moaning. He had a really good game and worked his Emmenthaler-socks off. Sometimes a bit unlucky. I’ll give him that.

Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Good and deserved 3 points. We looked shaky defensively ( and by that I also point towards our midfield ) and Ederson didn’t bring any calmness to the backline. But on a more lucky day we could’ve won by a much larger margin. Job done.

Foden got my vote. Pretty obvious. KdB and Gvardiol completing the top 3.

Match Thread | Brentford vs Man City (05/02/24)

Think we played well. Brentford won’t keep it up. Nor will their goalkeeper for tgat matter. Especially with the subs we can bring on. But agsin we need to be careful and less wasteful.

    Brentford (A) - Mon 5th Feb, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Like anyone cares about the starting 11 or whatever position they take. I’m more worried we always find it tough vs Brentford and weren’t even able to take a single point from them last year. We are top of the league if we win both our matches in hand. And normally we don’t give that position...

Premier League Games 3/4/5 Feb '24

So the ref has some problems with his equipment ( no, not that equipment). Why does that provoce Arteta and Ramsdale to moan?! Bunch of hysterical worked-up twats.

Premier League Games 3/4/5 Feb '24

Dutch commentator hailing Rice being the player that runs more than any other player in the PL. So does he means that is something to mark a terrific player? Going by the sound of his voice it is. L I like to go with the wisdom of one Johan Cruyff stating that if a player runs a lot, he lacks...

Should the club name the stadium after Pep when he goes?

I agree with everything, but still would oppose naming the stadium after Pep or any person tbh.

    Premier League (midweek) Games 30/31 Jan + 1/Feb '24

Liverpool will be our main challenger this season. And Klopp sacrificed himself to lift his team and the media, overly eager to give him a proper goodbye and prevent us from winning 4 in a row that will probably never be repeated by any PL-team.

Both Alvarez and Nunes. Gave it to the former as it’s his birthday. Shit reason? Sue me.

Burnley (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Was like a training session. More the pity to give away a late goal. Some great football in (very few) moments, and that’s mainly it. Imho due to many players with only a few minutes in their system starting.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

Agree. Time on his side, but definitely something he can and needs to work on.

    Burnley (H) - Wed 31st Jan, 19:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Whoever the starting 11, this really should be 3 points. Ideally we are able to up the goal difference, give minutes to the players that needs them, and no new or recurring injuries please. Finally we can sit back and watch Chelsea take some points of Liverpool. Ideally….

Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

What I find baffling is that the linesman flagged off side. No way he could’ve seen it. And a linesman should signal off side if he is absolutely sure. He could never have been. Nit even close. He must’ve been so eager to raise it.

Spurs (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Totally deserved. Spurs showed feck all. Happy to have scored and won there as it slightly became an issue. Ref was annoying but couldn’t do anything about our goal. Nor could the VAR. Ake motm as he was faultless and scored the winner by simply reacting to the loose ball. Next round coning up.
