    F1 2024 season

Well done Norris. Fastest car driven by one of the best drivers is really no contest. Let’s hope the other teams catch up with their cars or it’ll be another boring period with McLaren winning, as RB did with Verstappen and Mercedes with Hamilton.

    Arsenal (H) - Sun 22nd Sept, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I really don’t care about the starting 11. I stopped doing this for years now as we’ve won 6 out of 7 PL titles. I used to worry if Rodri went missing, but Kovacic showed enough to made me think otherwise. It’ll be another tactical game I’m afraid. Closer to last years’ 0-0 than the 4-1 a...

Because English teams normally charge stupid money for starters?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Everyone is kinda guessing what is happening. That’s what makes it a talking point on here, in the media, in the street, among most opposing fans. Guilty, not guilty, partly guilty, legal bills, punishments, and so on. In the end some will be right guessing. Up until the first verdict at least...

Inter Milan CL GW1 (H) | Man of the Match

1st half was a non event. Foden (and Gundogan) at least brought some drive to a flat game and dito atmosphere. I’m convinced Sundays will be totally different.

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Not the best of games. Could’ve nicked it in the end but overall no tempo or hardly any creativity to make our game less predictable. Typical Italian style of football by Inter. It used to be named catenaccio as in parking the bus. But hey, they didn’t visit to please our fans.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Inter Milan (18/09/24)

Mediocre to say the least. No tempo. Predictable wingplay and KdB is having one of his worst 45min in a City/Oasis shirt.

Happy there is a footballgame tonight.

    Inter (H) - Wed 18th Sept, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

As one Johan Cruyff said once: You can beat Italian teams and they still avoid defeat. A few days later Ajax beat Inter 2-0 to win the European cup in 1972. Anyways enough of the history lesson. I predict a similar game to the one in June 23 with the same outcome. Whatever our starting 11.

Transparency is not something for football to brag about now is it?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Money talks? It doesn’t. Not for United anyways. But hey, the media is able to switch peoples mind. It’s how they set up the way people think about our club as soon as the takeover by Arabs was a fact. It’s called propaganda. Remember it’s an USA following media. Oh … agenda … no that’s not...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

So the hearing starts today and the secret place where it’s held has been discovered. The amount of media articles today about this headliner is mind boggling. No-one knows the exact words by any of the 115 charges. Any outcome will not be this year. Tbf I have absolutely no opinion about...

    F1 2024 season

Great race. Lots happening. Piastri brilliant but still think Ferrari/Le Cler had to be able to win this one. Funny Piastri being named number 2 this week (shud’ve done that long ago) winning this one. Much more exciting season than last year.

Brentford PL (H) | Man of the Match

Just finished seeing yesterday’s game and imho KdB is the motm. Only because Gvardiol played 45 mins.

    Brentford (H) - Sat 14th Sept, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

With so many upcoming games it’ll be even harder to get close to a perfect starting line-up prediction. What I do know is Ake won’t start any of them until the next international break. Unfortunately. Anyways whatever line-up it’s always a tricky match that I expect us to win. They won’t mind...

    6 | Nathan Ake - 2024/25

It was bad luck ( bad landing ) and it didn’t appear that bad at first. But he soon showed he was hurting badly and even needed a stretcher. Let’s hope it’s not too bad and I wish the charming man a speedy recovery. Ake will know we or Pep will work something out.

    Florian Wirtz

Both Wirtz and Musiala were very quiet tonight vs Netherlands. But surely a yes if we are not only interested but also manage to wear the blue City top.

    Fish

Fck me you bunch of Jamie Oliver’s. I thought this was about Fish. The Scottish sing/songwriter and the former Marillion leadsinger. Anyone had a raw herring? Best fish and best way to eat fish.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Think we can all agree Grealish had a really good game. He’s a different kind of winger than Doku or (from what I’ve seen just 135min) Savinho. And Pep will use his strenghts that often are needed a bit more than an electric dribble passing by an opponent. 1st half vs West Ham was fantastic...

West Ham Utd PL (A) | Man of the Match

Haaland. But team performance especially in 1st half was just breathtaking. Up to the level where we can do that for a near 90 min.
