No Ipswich pressed Liverpool high and very aggressively in the first half and were unlucky not to be ahead at HT, Liverpool were hanging on. In the second half Liverpool found more space and was able to play around them.

Management of his hamstring recovery is critical. We can't afford for him to be injured for a long period. The club have generally been excellent in the medical department. (National teams less so.)

You can tell if Pep trusts the players by the games he plays them in. (Not sure if you actually looked at the data linked for each player?) Of the first 4 games of Ake's first season, (when no one knew which team was going to win the league), Ake played 3 full 90minutes at CB, scoring 1 goal...

Ake had a disrupted first season with injuries, but in between his injuries Pep showed great trust in him, he played regularly against all level of teams in the PL. Take a look at his data in the link...

Don't personally know much about this guy, but Van Dyke was doing well at Celtic when some on here were saying we should sign him, before he went to Southampton, he turned out a pretty decent player ;-)
