Michael Olise | Bayern Munich Player

Apparently we could not bid for Olise this summer "due to ongoing concerns around FFP"? Hopefully if we win our arbitration hearing with the PL it will ease our purse strings?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Apparently Burnham is a lifelong Everton supporter, (Starmer is an Arsenal supporter incidentally), but I am sure they won't let the teams they support effect their actions! ;-)

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Clearly trying to hush up previous leaks!

    Players who might improve us

I am an admirer of Bowen, skilful, good work rate, team player, intelligent and clinical finisher. I think he could be a good shout in future if he's up for a move?

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

I thought Stones and Walker did pretty well. Foden was off his game, very few progressive passes, seemed a little intimidated by the Serbian physicality and the ref let a lot go. I thought Bellingham avoided many passes to Foden throughout the game, not sure if this was a lack of trust or player...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Don't forget the financial returns expected of Stock Market companies floating on the stock exchange was against FA rules! So like Spurs, they bypassed the rules by forming a holding company, Manchester United plc, and floating that instead! United's financial success was based on avoiding the...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0020l75?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile His last program, recorded 2 weeks ago, 'How to live a good life', broadcast this morning on the radio. There's also a tribute to him on BBC1 at 8pm tonight. RIP

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2023/24

Tbh I didn't want us to sign either Philips or Nunes, (especially when Nunes cost us €62m and we only received €42m for selling Palmer!)

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2023/24

From MEN: It is claimed that Guardiola has 'lost all faith' in Nunes and is eager to sell the midfielder and Kalvin Philips as part of a major reshuffle of the midfield...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I can't find any mention of them in Utd's list of sponsors. Martin Samuel hinted at them having a long standing Arab sponsor. Do you have any link to this? I would love to bounce it back on my rag mates when they are criticising 'oil money'!

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I have been sending a copy to any mates that follow football, particularly those griping about City challenging the PL rules ;-)

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I came across another article on our earlier 2021 arbitration case: QC arbitrators in Man City case were not “beholden” to Premier League 11 August 2021 Posted by Nick Hilborne Manchester City: Claim dismissed The High Court has rejected a claim by Manchester City football club that there...

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

It was a wire fence about 2m high but with barbed wire at the top so impossible to climb, sadly

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

I suspect the bar manager of the Marina Beach bar might feel a sense of guilt for not checking his CCTV footage earlier. Apparently Dr Mosley was recorded on his CCTV falling just behind the boundary wall out of sight but possibly within ear shot of the beach. I have marked with a red cross the...

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

In his last interview Dr Mosley spoke about the future and his fear of dying too soon. “I had seen what had happened to my father. He had died at the age of 74, which is early these days. That feels young. He hadn’t seen his grandkids grow up. I thought that’s not a road I want to go down.” RIP...

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

Tragic that he was so near the marina, if only the staff had properly checked their CCTV and along their fence he would have been found much sooner. Apparently CCTV footage shows Dr Mosley gingerly walking down a rocky mountain near the perimeter fence of the Agia Marina resort before he...

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

Latest seems to be they think he might be inland in the more remote mountainous areas, pity they couldn't access the cctv footage earlier when time could have been of the essence. Valuable days spent searching the wrong areas it seems!

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

Ironically in one of his radio programmes he suggests having a "no phone" time can be beneficial. At the start of this programme he says he usually uses his phone for everything! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001hx33

Dr Michael Mosley missing on Greek Island | Body found (p 9)

Our family often listen to him on the radio. He has a good programme just one thing which gives recommendations to improve your health. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p09by3yy More understandable not to take your phone for a walk in a area you know well, less so when he's hiking in a steep...
