The USA is set to host a number of LA liga games over the coming seasons in a 15 year deal. Was only a matter of time before this happened. Would seriously consider packing it in if/when this happens in the premier league.

According to the MEN the premier league have rejected switching the game to the Etihad as they wont allow Spurs to play 4 games in a row at home later in the season.

There is already an NFL game scheduled to take place at Wembley on the day we play Spurs, so if the ground isn't ready the game may be rearranged, which wouldn't be ideal considering we have already booked train tickets.

Not sure how it would work numbers wise, but could perhaps have the league cup just for all league teams that are not playing in Europe that season? It is still a chance to win a trophy for the lesser premier league teams so I don't think it should be without the whole of the premier league.

Thomas cook day trip to Kharkiv for Donestk at £299 seems reasonable value to me given how hard it is to get to. Same price as it is for Feyenoord which is a doddle to get to.
