    San Siro crowd control

I was in that same crush. Stewards copping it all whilst the Police stood there doing Sweet FA until it threatened to get out of control at which points batons and shields drawn. The Milan police did not have the first clue about how to manage a crowd & the flow of people. Quite a few women I...

    Atalanta Away, Where Are You?

Two in 312. Taking my missus and luckily she remembered last night she has a City membership number from buying me a birthday present 2 years ago which made things much simpler once they reached general sale at 3pm. Ticket office very strict on my phone call that membership name equals name on...

Champions league draw 29th August 2019 - Group C (Shakhtar, Zagreb, Atalanta)

Never done a Euro away before but Atalanta now it’s going to be in Milan is very tempting. Any veterans of such trips, assume if needs be for a game like this it would be simple to pick up a ticket out there if needs be? I’m a Cityzens matchday member so hoping just get one via the club and we...

    Hugh Ferris/Match day presenters

Watched an hour of it on YouTube and by god Ferris was a car crash. No rapport with the players, passive-aggressive questions & dressed like a minor Foreign Office diplomat on a posting in Africa. I’m fairly certain he won’t be stood there if we have a parade next season.

FA Cup Final v Watford - Pre Match Thread

Yep. This is how I see it too. The intense pressure of the league title race lifted. The season is already a success regardless of tomorrow so time for the lads to go out and turn on the style.

FA Cup Final v Watford - Pre Match Thread

I’ve been in Club last 2 league cup finals. Being obviously pissed & singing is far less common than the standard seats but stewards take a liberal view & highly unlikely you’d get any grief for it in my experience. A City shirt no (though if you’ve got kids with you they’d be fine with one on)...

Brighton (A) Post Match thread - Champions!!!

Back to back Champions. Incredible, what a team. I really liked in the post game interviews on the pitch that Vinny, Bernardo & Leroy all mentioned the Cup Final, they know our work is not yet done & we can make English football history next Saturday.

    Media coverage 2018/19

A side point to tomorrow is if we keep a clean sheet and Wolves score then Ederson will win the Golden Gloves for most clean sheets, at the moment it’s 20 each.

Areas with a few good pubs on route to Wembley

Farringdon is very good. Short hop from Euston Sq/Kings X and then Metropolitan Line direct to Wembley from there. It’s quiet on a weekend too being on the edge of the City but most of the pubs still open on a Saturday and there are some excellent ones, including a Brew Dog & Craft Beer Company...

Tube strike cup final weekend (now called off)

Agreed if this strike is on then Overground from Euston to Wembley Central would definitely be the best bet. Trains every 20 mins and only takes 21 minutes. I’m sure there would still be some limited tubes running though too.

Tube strike cup final weekend (now called off)

Train from Marylebone to Wembley Stadium would also be an option, two an hour and takes 9 minutes. I would say though that these strikes often get called off at the last minute so I wouldn’t take it as 100% just yet.

Who is bigger in Manchester? City or Utd?

Growing up in Timperley and going to secondary school in Altrincham, in my class of 30 lads there were maybe 2-3 City fans. This was in the mid-late 90s when they were at their height and we were at our nadir. I'd agree totally with the match going thing, go into most pubs in Altrincham when the...

    Ignored?

I think the likeliest explanation is your big London based hacks (Holt, Winter etc) were never going to go to a Tuesday night game in the NE so all the media and coverage focused on the chavs. Fine by me. Let's just go about our business and keep the wins ticking over.

    City are the neutrals' favourites

This Liverpool for the title for the neutrals chat is total bollocks. As a Blue living in London my good pals down here support Spurs, Arse and Chelsea in the main. Not one of them wants Liverpool to win the league. Not one. The nauseating media sycophancy and the false modesty of Saint Brendan...

Wise words. Someone should stick this up in the away dressing room on Saturday.

    Ticket touts at Wembley

I was sat in Club Wembley with my parents and there were plenty of empty seats around us. The large majority of punters in Club also seemed to be Sunderland. Amusingly quite a few of them appeared to think you have to dress like you're at a wedding in the Club seats. There were a number of...

    Club Wembley Crew

I've got three across Block 229/230. I know quite a few London Blues who've got themselves sorted in Club. Whilst the Sunderland fans are more likely than us to be willing to pay over the odds, I think all our Wembley visits in the recent past mean a lot of our fans will probably have the better...

What time & where from are you setting off to Wembley?

Leaving my flat in Peckham about 11am. Now Wembley seems to be Etihad South it ain't half convenient to live down here. Club Wembley seats with my parents so will probs take advantage of the fact the beer queues move much quicker at Club so drink on the concourse.

    BT Sport or BT Bias?

He clearly has an issue when it comes to us that clouds his judgement. As someone who most rags couldn't care less about (THAT goal aside) it's really very odd where this City hatred comes from.
