    Norwich fans on Berbaflop!!!

Long time coming. I've been amazed how rags fans I know (admittedly not as many as most of you would) have continued to defend him. Goes to show how much more heat is on him when Shrek is out.

    Hands Up

I'd gladly go without the twists and turns! I agree with what you're saying, this has definitely been the most fun I've had following City (12 or so years) but I'd still like the season to end as it stands now, with no twists, turns or fuck ups!!

    apart from city and united

I did the 1-0 Liverpool-Everton at Anfield earlier this year. Looking objectively, I think the build up and atmosphere were very close, if not as good, as the United-City Carling Cup 2nd leg I did a few days earlier. Was a little awkward as I was with my brother who is a lifelong Liverpool fan...

Not sure i want 4th place?

I hate reading stuff like this. What's the point of being in the Premier League if we don't aim to finish as high as possible? I'm as pessimistic as the next person, but I'd rather find out if we're good enough to win a CL playoff, than not have us play in it at all.

    Predict The Top 6

Prediction: United Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool Spurs City What I'd prefer: Chelsea United Arsenal City Spurs Villa

    Satisfied with 5th?

Is this a trick question? Of course I wouldn't be satisfied with 5th. We'll never get an opportunity like this again, where the points total required to finish 4th is so low. We should all be disappointed if we don't take it.

    Top 4: Yes or no?

Voted no but expect it to be very close. Being a pessimist I think Spurs or Liverpool will edge us.

Sorry for bumping up an old thread, but I just wanted to say one final thank you to each and every one of you who offered your advice, before I depart for Manchester this week. You've all been a great help, and will make my Manchester experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Looking forward...

City fan coming to Manchester seeking your help

Sorry for bumping up an old thread, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who offered their advice to me. You have no idea how much help you've been so thanks to each and every one of you. I've secured two tickets for the Old Trafford leg of the Carling Cup and will also be going...

    1 goal lead,are you happy ?

Serious? The backing off Rooney whenever he had the ball said it all for me. They had a hell of a lot of chances for another away goal. Not trying to be naegative, but I think we can do so, so much better than that in the second leg!

Coins, bottles, fireworks, flares, boulders, cowards.

That bad hey? Bloody hell, I wonder what we have to look forward to at Old Trafford then.

    1 goal lead,are you happy ?

Very happy with the outcome all things considered. Given saved us on a number of occasions, anyone questioning his place should eat their words. We defended poorly but that's to be expected when many of our defenders are poor defenders. To escape with any sort of a lead is a fantastic outcome...

    HUGE dilemma :(

This, if you're sure being sick will put the job at then try the honest way, no harm in asking right? As far as the sicky goes, in my home town it'd be pretty obvious to any employer with a brain if someone was "sick" on two derby days in quick succession, would've thought it'd be the same in...

Torres out for 6 Weeks :)

I'd say now is the perfect time to throw in a bid well below market value? He's world class, injuries or not.

How many City at OT semi??

I too am very keen to know the answer to this question. With this being my first Manchester City match more than a decade in the making, I'd love to have a drink or two with fellow City fans pre-match in a safe environment, away from the swamp and those who inhabit it. Only problem being I had...

If you had your choice of united going bust or not would you

Surprised how many people don't want them to go bust, I don't have to think twice when I say I do. There are very few sporting clubs in the world I'd wish that upon, but they're one of them.

    United ticket requests thread

I'm pretty sure hospitality packages are still available for United away? I bought one as I knew it'd be the only way I'd get into the City section (and thanks to some advice from the friendly people here), those of you who like me are in the "will pay any price to be there" category should...

Can we win the title this year... do you believe or not?

By that philosophy you must've believed we were a good chance of winning the title at the end of the one win from 10 run, simply because we'd beaten Arsenal and Chelsea? Those results would count, if they weren't cancelled out by a bunch of abysmal results. Anyway we can debate it as much as we...

Can we win the title this year... do you believe or not?

No, I don't, sorry. Like everyone I'm impressed with the start under Mancini, but those are matches we'd be expecting to win if we were mid table. If/when we start getting results against the title contenders, I'll start believing. Until then, I'm comfortable aiming for fourth, because City...

Can we win the title this year... do you believe or not?

This. I'd be delighted with 4th and/or a trophy. Yet to see anything to suggest we can catch Chelsea, United or Arsenal. Would love to be proven wrong!
