    7 | Joao Cancelo - 2022/23 Performances

Good luck Len. Sorry that you and your family had that nasty burgalry whilst at our club. Gave us some brilliant moments mixed with a few clangers. The Premiership did recognise your talent.

    Pep’s Spurs (H) Post-Match Interview

We could always appoint a proper captain instead of fannying around rotating. Diaz springs to mind or Rodders more so because he plays most games. Great bloke Gundo but not a captain.

    United (A) - Sat 14th Jan, 12:30 | Pre-Match Thread

Think you might be right. But if they do hit us on the break then we only have ourselves to blame. A point would do fine to keep that four point gap.

    Southampton (A) - Carabao Cup QF - Wed 11th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

Yep. At Maine Road. I was there. Terry Paine right winger caused havoc and I think Derek Reeves got 4. When the Saints go marching in rang around the ground.

    Chelsea (H) - Sun 8th Jan, 16:30 - FA Cup | Pre-Match Thread

I don't think it is a rule change. The FACup has been this way for over a hundred years. Only exceptional circumstances such as Covid have meant alternatives.

Any Long Covid sufferers on here?

Thank you Summerbuzz. The paragraph headed 'keep the hope alive' really brings the situation home to me. When I was first diagnosed I said to my daughters " I will beat this" but in truth I have been pretty pathetic.

Any Long Covid sufferers on here?

Please be careful everybody. I had Covid in the very early days, and for a long, long while afterwards I had some bad days feeling totally wiped out and exhausted. Tending the garden was too much for me. I put it down to long covid. Last summer I had a particular bad day and went to Stepping...

Same for me Norm. Opening the envelopes not knowing whether a Green one pound note or a Red 10 shilling note would fall out, either made me feel great. I too have cut back this year just a tenner in the gift wallets, feel like Scrooge. A fiver or a tenner are taken for granted these days. When I...

My cynical mind takes me back to that wrap around tackle by ex Scouser Emre Can in Dortmund.

One coachload of Gornik were allowed to travel from behind the iron curtain. We swapped little paper flags like you get for the sandcastles at Blackpool.

Well done to everybody your loyalty can never be doubted. Fantastic stories. Thought I had done my bit when going to Charlton away for the first game in 1963. Football special from Manchester Central to St Pancras, there was only me and my mate on it although in those days it stopped at othe...

Still my greatest BBC football radio commentary , FA cup at Roots Hall . Southend battered us on a mud heap but we snatched a 1-0 may have been Joe Hayes.

Poor old Milner. He ages 20 years after every 10th post.
