Yeah this is my take... he's the exact same player, but younger with better speed. I honestly thought we were in for creativity now KDB is injured, but more importantly somehow filling the gap Gundo left, he scored in HUGE games at pivotal times, won us the FACup etc. We don't need tidy players...

Yeah fair enough, but Kovacic can't play attacking mid, he isn't going to suddenly develop into a world beater, I guess Foden/Bernardo will play there. I mean I think he's a solid player, but I was hoping for some creativity is all my friend :)

Weird one, he has 1 goal and 1 assist in 34 games last season and Kovacic got 6 goals and 15 assists in 221 games, I thought we were looking for some central creativity? Abit baffled - my own opinion though but those stats are awful

Agree, when Kev was out Gundo (sometimes Bernie) stepped up, we've lost 2/3 of our Treble winning midfield, that's huge no matter how we dress it up. Kova is a Rodri backup, we don't play with 2 holding mids. If Foden plays there then we're a winger light. I'm sure we've got targets ready :)

Could be a struggle, Mahrez is hit and miss, Grealish playing quite well but with a lack of end product. I love Alvarez though, he needs to start 100%!

I don't know what anybody expects? 7 of our first 11 have been benched (out of form or not) that is a HUGE transition. It's hard enough bedding in 1 or 2 new players, let alone changing 60% of your best 11. It's so bizarre what's going on.. Trying not to worry though!
