We can be cleared of all charges, and any hint of wrongdoing. However, our haters, or even the neutrals wouldn't stop either screaming, or at best still muttering 'fix' or 'no smoke without fire' etc. And in that, the job of sullying our name and achievements is still done. Cnuts.
A mate of mine was guitarist in several bands, one of which got the support slot with Heep all over Europe in the late 80's (possibly early 90s) He always banged on about just how cool and helpful they were to his band. Mick Box especially really took them under his wing and gave great advice...
I saw them on their 50th Anniversary tour in 2022 (delayed due to Covid) at the Bridgewater Hall. Firstly they did a great video presentation of people from across the rock world (and beyond) wishing them well. Then they did a semi acoustic set, before a full on set to follow.

In our inland enclave of Poulton le Fylde yesterday, we went in our favourite local The Thatched House. Even at 4 pm it was very busy, so we sat onthe corner of a large table, and guy across from me looked very familiar. Got chatting later, and it clicked .... former player Paul Stewart...
