    City v Celtic post match

Thought Tosin looked good after those first 10 minutes.

    City v Celtic post match

Also, just to agree with the others, Clichy was very poor. He is clearly well past it -- in years past he was the superior defender to Kolarov but now you can expect him to make a mistake or two and get absolutely abused regularly. I'll be very happy when we see the backs of both him and Kolarov.

    City v Celtic post match

Disagreed with Pep's subs for a second game running but it is what it is. Would have liked Foden to at least get a few minutes at the end for the hell of it. Thought it was a little risky to leave Gundogan on there after the yellow so I thought we'd give him a breather for a few. Fernando again...

    Losing Scouts to our Rivals

I'm sure City were already paying the scouts more than most all of our rivals. United are in full on desperation mode right now though so they've surely gone above and beyond to tempt them away. You're not doing a good job if other people don't want to hire away your staff or players.

    Virgil van Dijk

Stones' fee was inflated due to the fact they'd already turned down nearly £40m from Chelsea and since he's English. I don't think Virgil's fee would approach his but it probably wouldn't be significantly lower. I would suspect £35-40m is probably the ceiling for VvD.

    Fernandinho's contract

Absolutely shocking that we've let it go so long. Definitely needs to be extended until 2020.

    Corners (again)

I've noticed this year that essentially any time Kev takes one he tries to hit someone at the near post for a flick on. It rarely works but I think Pep must just feel like it's our best option because it's been consistent. Silva has tried it quite a bit too.

Matchday vlog from the Burnley game! Proper away day.

Always entertaining. As someone mentioned on Twitter, those of us in the States are especially appreciative to get a taste of the away game stuff. Keep up the great work!

    Burnley - Post Match Thread

Not even a foul according to the refs. Nasty stuff.

    Burnley - Post Match Thread

Ugly win but we'll happily take it. Marriner was effectively a 12th man for them. Very unfair dishing of cards. If he was, I didn't hear it come through personally. Loudest stuff to come through the tv was the chanting to Sterling that he'd let his country down.

    Rainbow laces campaign

This post is frankly an embarrassment. And this sort of gesture by City is clearly aimed at people like you who need to be better.

Puncheon trip on Zaba goes unpunished...

If you were unaware, they've changed the rules this past summer which should have made it a red.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Manchester City pre-match

The idea of us prioritizing a Burnley game over a Champions League match is one of the funniest posts I've ever seen on here.

New Kit Deal - Under Armour?

They're certainly far more established so I would absolutely agree with you there. I don't even think I've ever seen their soccer/football gear for sale outside of the Spurs stuff. If they want to grow their brand within that space, City is a big partner.

New Kit Deal - Under Armour?

Under Armour just released their recent quarterly sales and it was around $1.5 billion. I'm not sure how their domestic vs international revenue breaks down, but Adidas' recent quarter which was huge for them was $875m in the US. They're comparable at worst, but I think if you asked young...

New Kit Deal - Under Armour?

I would suspect it is significantly smaller in the US but not globally. City's kit deal is at least 3 times too low so I hope whatever is next is sorted soon.

    United post-match thread

Poor performance today with a few bright spots. Their goal shouldn't have counted as it was a clear foul by Herrera. We should win vs West Brom.

Why do our ballboys take ages to actually get the ball?

I actually was totally clueless about that change --thanks for the information! Either way, it took ages for the players to get the ball back when we were down in their attacking third.. I have rarely seen anything like it.

    Leroy Sane - 2016/2017 performances

He is absolutely silky smooth but needs some seasoning still. His close control is unreal but he has pushed the odds a bit too far a few times. Pep will either get him to pick and choose his battles with that style or encourage him to keep at it. I'm surprised he hasn't earned a penalty yet.

    Time wasting by players

Thought for sure the 5 minutes would become 7 or so this weekend. At least deep into the 6+. Nope, ended around 5:45 of stoppage.. but that was nowhere near enough. It was absolutely egregious.
