Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

Ridiculous. We are on a shit run, but you honestly think club would sack our greatest ever manager? It's time to back him not sack him. The squad needs a rebuild and I can't think of a better manager to do it.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 1st Dec, 16:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

As much as a win is desperately needed, at this point I'd happily take a decent performance. Better and more inform versions of City have gone there and not managed to win so hard to see this current out of form team being able to manage it. If the lads dig in an get a bit of pride back it...

Yea me too. We miss his clever breaking up of play. We are like Arsenal 10/15 years ago. To nice to play against. We need a Barry, De Jong or like you said Ferna. Some one who can play, but can also mix it.

Just home from the game. Gvardiol needs saving from himself at the moment. Salah could destroy him and Sunday and mentally that could be a long way back. Was worrying how quickly his head dropped after his first clanger that gifted them their first. He then obviously was poor for the second, but...

Been a big part of one the greatest teams this island has ever produced, but has never been captain material. Needs to be given to Ruben as soon as he can get himself fit

Feel sorry for Savinho, only 20 new to the league and I think being played more than pep wanted to due to injuries. Lad badly needs a goal, but his assist stats are not that high through no fault of his own i.e that chance the big man passed up in the first half put it the wrong side of the keeper.

Agree without Eddie has been one of the only ones in this run who hasn't really done anything wrong. Stopped us from being completely humiliated against Bournemouth. A game I thought we were even worse than today. The finishing today was as much a problem as the defending. If Haaland miss fires...

All I can say about that is.....it's character building.

Haaland should of buried 2 before they scored. Our defenses confidence is just shot to shit. Love Gundo been a absolute legend but he should be hooked.

Feel we miss that nastiness in midfield in the team at the moment. All our recent great teams have had that. 2012 had Nigel De Jong. 2014 had Fernandinho until 22. I know that's two years ago and we've won the treble since then, I just feel we are a nice team to play against right now. I love...

Going be the only good thing about the post Pep Era. When the inevitable drop off happens, we'll lose a few hangers on.

Awful until Lewis and Doku came on. Brighton next another tough one, especially with them getting the midweek to freshen up. Just got to hope we can stay in touching distance until January and get a couple bodies in to help out.

Been the better team. They are scared to death of Savinho and Nunes in particular.

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Exactly how I saw it. I certainly think people underestimate just what a good side Inter are. Won their league twice in 4 seasons and last year won it with loads to spare. They defended well and hit on the break brilliantly. That said, we still created 3 big chances that you have to score...

We certainly didn't on Saturday when Walker was run ragged in the first half against Brentford.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Yea agree with this, barring Mbappe there is no one I've seen move this summer who'd of instantly improved us. The two teams I think will be direct rivals for the title in Liverpool and Arsenal have signed a couple of decent players but none that make me sit up and take notice. Arsenal didn't...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I think most fans would agree we are a striker light, but it is not as simple as just going out and signing one. You need one who is willing to be second choice, and has to be good enough to contribute when he is selected. There maybe no one at this current time on the market the club think is...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

The fact Nunes is rubbish renders him completely pointless.

Think you're right. Pep even said last week it's one of the positions Gundo is good at.

Is Claudio Echeverri not that guy? Might just have to wait til January to find out.
