    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Rice, Guimaraes, Paqueta, Bellingham were all players Pep wanted. None of them are here. If you think Pep didn't want more physical and young midfielders that could start, you don't listen to Pep interviews. We know that the club had a City striker as a dub for Haaland and Pep didn't want it...

    8 | Mateo Kovačić - 2024/25

Criticizing Kovacic is really unfair. The only midfielder who has a passing grade this season. Can he play alone as a 6? No, but he is the best we got now and is playing at a good level.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

When we have barely 12 fit players, and people like Gjndogan, Bernardo are having 3/10 seasons, we are playing a 19 y.o as a CB in his first PL start, Rico as a LB, Walker who is barely fit, Nunes as a LW (all out of necessity) and we played against one of the best team in PL away, then yes, how...

Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

It was a good competitive match. So did we. Brighton had 4 clear chances (2 goals + a header + 1v1 from Joao), we also had 4 (Savinho 1v1, Haaland goal and another 1v1, and Haaland cross thst was barely deflected). We both had several minor chances: Brighton another header, a long ball for 1v1...

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Bernardo has been the worst player of the season. None of those are defenders, so Walke HAS to play. Nunes played, and if he was in the midfield we wouldn't have any other winger. McAtee and Wright...

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2024/25

He saved a goal today. If there is a defender who should get a pass, it's Gvardiol and Akanji. They have kept us this season.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

I though today was positive. 3 in the back made us much more solid to transitions (Brighton are excellent at this). Individual mistake in the first goal cost us the game, but I think tactics were wll set and executed. The squad is what it is, but I like the set up from today a lot.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Who should start today then? We had 12 healthy players (our starting 11 + Bernardo) and KDB available for 10 min. Who sould have started then? Bernardo who is aeful every match now?

Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We played a great FH. We just don't have the squad to comepte for the entire match. I like the 3 in the back, we looked more solid and Savinho and Haaland were great. People here will be way too over dramatic, but I liked the signs from today. We'll see what we look like when we have more...

Match Thread | Brighton vs. Man City (09/11/24)

It's not like we can sub Walker off. All our CBs are injured (if not they would be playing and not Pusey). KDB for 10 min and Bernardo are our only possible subs. Maybe KDB for Nunes?

Nunes should be using his speed more. I've noticed when he has np support (like today because our back 3), he doesn't take his man. Savinho is a wonderful player. Constantly dribbling, producing danger, great controls and good combinations. The final ball is not there, but from his Girona days...

We have played fantastic especially considering the injuries, Brighton being a fantastic team and them having a full week off. Pep's tactics have worked great to beat their press and to protect our defense.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Rice has been playing, and according to Arteta is fit for Chelsea, same with Palmer. Jack hasn't played for a month and our squad is in an injury crisis. I am suggesting that the manager asked Grealish if he feels ready, and he answered emphatically yes, despite the club saying he is still not...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Agree. Some people are bonkers justifying Jack, as if he hasn't given Carsley green light for the call (all national managers will talk to the injured players and clubs before making a call). The sensible thing is what Stones and Dias did. People defending Jack, will say they haven't been...

    New CL Format Thoughts | After GW2 (pg13) | GW3 (pg33)

Just last week, everyone was moaning that our injury crisis was because Pep chose to go strong against Tottenham. Just 1 game apparently creat3d a mini crisis in our team. Now, we are talking about playing 2 more games in the busiest part of the season, and having a harder path to UCL final...

    New CL Format Thoughts | After GW2 (pg13) | GW3 (pg33)

Remember how some were shitting on the format and how is not interesting just because we beat two pot 4 teams? This format is way more competitive. You have Madrid, Bayern, Milan, Leipzig, Juventus, Atletico, PSG, Stuttgart, Atalanta, Bologna...pretty much out of the first 8. Even we are...

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

I don't think it is as bad as it seems (with the exception of our midfield). Defense will improve when Stones, Dias, Walker, Ake, Akanji are healthy. Gvardiol- Dias- Akanji- Walker is really good and physical enough to concede way less than now. Our wingers are playing well. Savinho, Nunes...

Bernardo a ghost again... honestly, I would prefer to play with 10 and have Rodri than playing with any of the duo Kovacic- Bernardo - Gundo. Kova at least plays well, but the other two are ghosts of what they were.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Did you see the amount of messages immediately after the defeat? All saying how Pep can't deal with this situation, or how this is his last sesson, or how he lost the game because of no subs. Of course a doctor has a huge saying in how long a player coming back from injury can play. From...

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

We had 0 rumours of signing any midfielder before Gundo, it's extremely clear that we would have not signed anyone else if it wasn't for that (which came pretty late in the summer by the way). We had the chance to sign Guimaraes before end of June with his release clause. Not to mention we...
