I definitely agree about the single tier although even with the reputation the Kop has, it still needed a singing section for a partial revival of fortunes. The smart, if not safe, move by the club was to let everyone stand in that area to help with the sound. It works well 99% of the time.

We don’t have any segregation issues per se within the ground, it’s contained in that respect. Safety with police officers though is a crap shoot, I personally wouldn’t trust my safety with any policemen at the game. Look after yourself.
