    Kelechi Iheanacho - 2016/17 Performances

Well for what it's worth, Nigeria is pretty much locked in to a WC slot. In the AFC only the top team in a group advances. They somehow got placed with both Algeria and Cameroon, so it's no small task. Algeria's team on paper looks top 20 in the world.

    Aguero plays 90 mins ok

It looks like he's playing in midfield, which seems odd, and a real waste. They keep trying to shoehorn him and Higuain into the same line up. Higuain is a pudgy little choker unfit to clean Aguero's boots. Hell Aguero might score 60 playing in Italy.

World Cup Qualifiers 6/7/8 October (also 2nd batch 9/10/11 October)

The ESPN guys thought the disastrous back pass by Dier was done by Stones. I think that's why they kept going on about him being "too elaborate".

    Julian Weigl

I don't think there's any doubt he'd succeed as a RB in this system. He's getting old, there needs to be cover for the CDM position.

    Julian Weigl

We have nobody but Fernandhino to adequately cover the pivot spot. If we add Weigl we can kick Fern to RB, and have him as the cover for Weigl. Fern. Stones. Kompany/whoever Kolorav Weigl De Bruyne. Gundogan Sterling...

    Clinton v Trump debate - 2am BBC News 24

They dont, immigration from Mexico has been net negative for almost a decade. I love that immigration wasn't mentioned once, despite it being the cornerstone of his appeal to the nation's fucktard class.

    Clinton v Trump debate - 2am BBC News 24

Donald Trump doesn't talk so much as vomit out word salad designed to appeal to redkneck fools. The world is going to hell.

    Clinton v Trump debate - 2am BBC News 24

There's no possible way he has the discipline or attention span required not to embarrass himself. The sad part is his supporters won't care. Idiots are comforted by a leader that doesn't make them feel inferior. That's how the world was thrown the shit sandwich known as George W. Bush.

    Clinton v Trump debate - 2am BBC News 24

I was going to ask if anybody had room in Manchester for an American refugee, but reading this thread I've lost all hope. Morons transcend borders I suppose. Maybe the Canadians will be better. I liked the ones I was with in Afghanistan anyway.

    United 2016/17

Is that really the top 3 salaries in the league? That's what an average NBA starter gets these days. If I was a player I'd be pissed if my rights were worth 100m, but my salary was a fraction of that.

    General transfer rumours

He's 23 and scored 10 in 32 in the Brazil league. That might be worth 30m if he was 19. I very much doubt big clubs will throw that kind of money at him just because he scored a great goal against Colombia's U23.

Gabriel Jesus - 2016/17 Performances - Palmeiras win the league title

God he's such a sniveling little shit. It'd have been nice if he actually left, Jesus might even get a pass his way.

Kevin De Bruyne - 2016/17 performances

He also put in an inch perfect cross that Aguero just missed. He's one of those guys who can disappear for stretches, but when he pops up is absolutely deadly.

    Steaua Bucharest post-match thread

My biggest concern is depth behind Fernandhino. Can Gunogan play that hybrid DCM/CB position? Because right now hes crucial to how our team plays, and irreplaceable by any of the current roster. I think Fernando lacks the link up play to pull it off.

    Steaua Bucharest post-match thread

Well that was fun. Stones was made for this team at this moment. He's going to be an absolute legend. Our front 5 was a site to behold.

Match Thread | Steaua Bucharest vs Manchester City (16/08/16)

My girlfriend is trying to decide if she's more happy that we kept Kolorav or signed Stones. She reports that in any case she'll woman less about me watching them this year.

Gabriel Jesus - 2016/17 Performances - Palmeiras win the league title

Wasn't it Colombia that broke his back in the world cup? In any case he is a whiny little woman, but that's just how it goes with South American players. It looks like our Jesus is already learning at his feet.

    Messi or Neymar?

It seems to me like Neymar is more beloved in Brazil than Messi is in Argentina, and if Neymar played in his prime at City that's forever where he would be most associated. Imagine the long term dividends of having a generation of Brazilian boys growing up wearing sky blue shirts.

There's grades of MCL stuff too, not like an ACL. Even a painful sprain could potentially not be horrible. But fuck do I know?

MCL is best case right? Thats like a month not a year
