Cheers for the response and I echo your thoughts! We drive midweek games because of this as getting a metro back to Alti after is a nightmare. If there was a direct tram, and one after the other it would be a no brainer. Hopefully this is considered before expansion / co-op live goes ahead.

Sorry if this has been mentioned previously but before the Newcastle game I could see trams from Navigation Road (Altrincham Line) to the Etihad Campus....I've checked for tomorrow night and nothing mentioned? Was this a one off, or are direct trams returning?

It's a great idea to reduce impact on capacity, but if this is the case, we're getting a 3rd tier bolted on if that 2nd tier stays the same because the 2nd tier as one is supposed to have a steeper rake than the 1st?

Morning all, has anyone seen the CGI of the new stand with ‘CITY’ in big writing across it? It’s an internal shot. Cant find where i first saw it on here or on twitter. It might not be an official CGI either! Thanks Chris

It does make me laugh this. People are so thick. The question they need to ask themselves is 'Do I think City would really spend all this money and invest all the time in building it, if A) they weren't going to see a financial return? and B) Genuinely believe those seats will lie empty all year.

I don’t think people are complaining or meaning to come off as ungrateful, it’s just an observation the drawings aren’t what we anticipated. Take the south stand announcement for example. Full CGI. We know we are lucky to have this to look forward to, it’s a game changer.

West Ham is 62.5k regulated but can actually hold 66k but they don’t have a license for it i believe

Do people think the design of this new stand will have a prerequisite that is has to be able to develop into the new west and east stands? I’m being picky but the gaps between said stands could look a bit vast shall we say. Excited though, the club have listened which is great.

My thoughts entirely. Looks like they’ve hired my 6 year old nephew to do the drawings!

Biggest issue is the weather for me too. Covered, indoor and without huge puddles everywhere will make a huge difference. I’d plan to go there earlier. It could help with a steadier flow of entry to the ground aswell, so no missing the first 10 minutes of champs league games.
