What is the closest you've ever been to a wild Baboon ?

Just hit back from Bali’s and went to Monkey forest which is home to Macaque’s. Signs everywhere, don’t touch them, don’t feed them and avoid eye contact. A women just in front of us decided to poke one whilst it was eating. The macaque poked back which was quite amusing. Women did it again and...

You would think we were beating Argentina 5-0 the way they are going off

    Holidays

We broke it up by swapping in Doha. It is long but it went quite quickly. We were dreading the flights but a few beers and movies and it was over

    Holidays

Just got back from Bali. Flights more expensive but Villas are cheap and it is so cheap when you are out there. It worked out about £1500 cheaper for 6 of us for two weeks to go to Bali than 6 of us hiring a Villa in Ibiza. It’s also much better

What's the closest you have been to death?

Yeah it scared the life out of me tbh. Was a lucky boy as I also know someone who wasn’t as lucky sadly

What's the closest you have been to death?

Was in Dubai about 8 years ago and my leg swelled. Was told it was cellulitis by the doctor and when the last day came of the holiday I was adamant I was flying home. I got worse throughout the day and my wife Convinced me to go to hospital to have it checked out. Turns out it was a Dvt and the...

    Gigs Thread

Liam was outstanding in Sheffield last weekend. So anyone going next week I hope you enjoy. Crowd was such a great mix of age grouos Secretly gutted I didn’t get Taylor Swift tickets to take my daughter. I don’t mind her music and for anyone who does a 3 hour set for fans is pretty decent in my...

Are there any bluemooners on here that foĺlow England?

I went to Amsterdam to watch England in the early 00’s. It was absolute carnage and I vowed never to go away to watch England again. Had a great day drinking with the Dutch with no bother and it quickly changed when England lads turned up fighting each other. Shame but never again for me

VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

Controversial view here. I hate VAR with a passion and I have thought about stopping going because if it. The people who run VAR are in the main the same people that ref our games on the pitch so in any event the standard of refereeing is very poor. I actually think CL refs are decent in the...

    Garden House

Nah it doesn’t and it will cost a lot more money. Mines rock hard I used the same on my drive and it hasn’t shifted

    Garden House

I used old tarmac Chippings and granite dust so it was solid under foot then used plastic interlocking grid base for it to sit on. I wouldn’t just sit it on the ground mate without making sure it’s solid. They move anyway with the weather so the base is essential

    Garden House

Me and my mate just built one in my garden. Took two days to get it weather tight. If you can follow ikea type instructions and have a solid base the give it a go mate. I really enjoyed doing it tbh
