My Stepdaughter has been on the case re: tickets for a couple of days now, the promoters are quoting 2800RMB as the cheapest tickets (around 300 quid). My response is fuck that, I'll rock up on the night and take my chances.

Yup, in 2012 v l'arse the tickets were available at the stadium on the night for 100RMB (around a tenner) I don't think that will be the case for the 'Derby', sadly, there are an awful lot of pseudo rags in Beijing.

Well, the college might have been up the road a bit, memory fades and all that. There was a Merchant Navy college (I spent three years learning Merchant Navy stuff there), taken over by Preston Poly later (whatever Preston Poly is called nowadays).
