We all know why united has a good away support - mainly because most of them don't have to travel very far.....

Why is it that professional footballers have never been fitter but excuses of tiredness come out so early? If they're not match fit, they're jaded - there never seems to be anyting inbetween So a player has been in 6 bloody games without a break - so what? Isn't that what 150k a week is...

It would be interesting to see the actual numbers of minutes by players by season over time - including going back to the 60 's, with smaller squads, no subs etc anyone know of such a thing?

Any team will "regain" fans when they are doing well There were 24,000 at Fulham today 15 or so years ago a good Fulham crowd would have been 7,000 And there weren't 17,000 blues there! Some will be new fans or people who can't get into Stamford Bridge But a lot will be old gits who stopped...
