West Ham - post match thread

If you look closely, initially Reid has Aguero's arm which Aguero pulls free. At that moment the ball is played up to them and Reid comes over the top and Sergio protects himself with both arms and ducks. At the same time Reids own arm make a sharp movement behind Sergio. The arm movement by...

    Richards

The photo of him is definitely in Florence. The glass door has Firenze Airport etched on it; or did we do that to throw Sky off the scent????

    All The best, Javi

A very big thank you to a player who worked tirelessly and always gave his best in whichever role he was asked to play. He and MDM were superb at Hull - their ability to maintain their line thwarted Hull time and time again which meant that the work done further up the field by the likes of...

How many of these historical games were you at?

    21. 6 missed were away games of which 2 were at the swamp and I will not give that lot my hard earned cash. My biggest regret ever was missing the play-off final as I had booked a holiday well in advance and truly believed we would not need to go into the play offs - gutted!

Thanks blue champ- figured it out whilst waiting for kettle to boil and edited before I saw your post.

    New Numbers

??? Have no idea what you are talking about. He has probably asked to switch, just as Silva wears 21 for club and country; Aguero wore 16 until he split with his wife; and Kompany wears 4 for both; Tevez chose 32 as it had been a successful number for him; and so it goes on. Players have their...

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont If the owners think a medical centre like the one at the Bridgewater would be cost effective I'm sure we'd have it on the Etihad Campus, but why pay out for the scanners and other hi-tech machines they use that cost in excess of £1m...

Edin Dzeko (contract update page 370)

Re: Edin Dzeko Gutted for him. Some of the service was dire and the offside was clearly NOT offside. He had THREE men marking him most of the time such was the slow build up play. He "cost Bosnia the match" according to the monotone Neville brother. Just can't help themselves can they? In the...

    Joe Hart (continued)

The shot in the first half was moving all over the place and making sure he got his body behind it was a good save. Pirlo's free kick defied the laws of physics - it moved about 4 yd from left to right mid flight - no goalkeeper in the world would have got anywhere near that; and in forcing...

Thank you Joleon Lescott and Gareth Barry

Two very underrated but very important players and men who always gave 100% to City and played huge parts in bringing us the FA Cup and our first Premiership trophy. As others I didn't fancy either when we signed them but watching them week in week out made me realise their qualities and...

    Who Was Your First Ever

Francis Lee then Rodney Marsh, Paul Stewart, and then and still is Uwe Rosler. Loved Mario and also Dzeko, who takes so much stick on here but scores IMPORTANT goals.

    Martin Atkinson

We were lethargic and seemed unable to string passes together - poor all over the pitch. That is not in doubt, but the decisions of both Atkinson and the assistant at the North Stand end where we sit left a lot to be desired. The Aguero penalty, having watched it when I got home, would have been...
