The OP states that our downturn in form started on Xmas day after we beat Stoke. Well on Xmas day we were 2 points clear of united at the top and 7 clear of spurs with them having a game in hand, now let's have a looked how far we have slipped since then shall we?
Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs
Ref report won't be seen by anyone until Monday. But the ref gave a foul and a free kick, so he saw the incident and decide on just a free kick so we should be ok.
Your wrong on one thing, if we beat them next week, they won't win the league. In fact A draw would even do us, they need to win for sure but d en that is likely to still see them behind us on goal difference.
As for a better squad than us, do me a favour. Don't you think spurs would panic if...
Re: City bid £60m for rooney
I can tell you one thing for sure we were 100% in for Rooney last Jan, we had agreed a contract with him and he told us he was coming. What happened next made sure we would never go for him again, and when City say never they mean never.
I must admit our drop in form is a worry for tonight, we have only gone unbeaten for a year, and we have only won 9 out of 9 at home this season which points to us losing tonight.
The good thing is this only has a week an a half max to run.
For what it's worth I think he signs for city. Wednesday will tell us a lot, if he plays in CL then it's unlikely a deal will happen, if he doesn't play he certainly leaves.
Unless nasri takes to the pitch tomorrow he will not be cup tied, being an unused sub does not cup tie him. He was named in arsenals champs league qualifying squad so if he is an arsenal player tomorrow his 1 game ban will have been served, without bring cup tied.
Is that city's plan? I don't...
Stop panicking, bluemoon does this on every bloody transfer. Nasri will be a city player, if he wanted to run his contract down at Arsenal then he would do, the fact is he's pushing to leave hence the reason he didn't play last week and isn't even in there squad today. If he wanted to run his...
We all know what Mancini said we all know what fergie said, but he will end up in Manchester so one of those is telling porkys, my guess and from what is going around is the they are BOTH not being truthful.
Of course it's close 4 days is nothing, if it wasn't close Mancini would not have put a time scale on it, he would have said it's not close. Be patient people.
It makes me laugh how people say things they have headed that were never said. Nasri is 100% in Germany and played today, fabregas didn't travel but arsenal never said anything about the barca transfer, the official line was "due to his hamstring injury".
BALANCE the bloody books, If we sell ade and Tevez we would without doubt need at least 1 new striker of their quality. We did well on saturday but were not at the level of winning the league YET.
Lets not get carried away with 1 game, BUT, fbloke your wrong on this mate, Mario played very well yesterday, the fact is he is such a good player he is capable of anything, but yesterday was good enough for me, for starters.
