City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

You can pay to park in a disabled spot, it will be easier for you to book them now, as you won't have selfish people taking them then not turning up

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

Another thing to add, by charging, it will mean those who need it most will get the spaces, to have so many book them and not turn up is more of a disgrace than charging. Charging will open up spaces for those that will actually use them.

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

I don't think they should be free in first place. Cheaper yes but why free. There's a women who goes home and away with City, totally confined to a wheelchair, gets the bus to the pub and a taxi van to the game. If you can afford to drive to a game and have a season ticket you can afford to...

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

    That's a ridiculous statement. I wasn't getting a free season ticket .

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

Disabled people can get the tram and the bus that's nonsense, I'm happy for them to have special parking spaces, but don't see why they should be free. If they can afford a season ticket they can afford to pay parking. Do I think £12 is steep yes, but it should be lower for everybody.

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

I agree, but why should it be free? My dad has a blue badge and he's much more well off than I am.

City to start charging blue badge holders for matchday disabled parking

No issue with this to be honest, why should the parking be free? They've been lucky to have it free for so long.

    General Election - 4th July 2024

To be clear this isn't abuse I've got as I'm not voting for Reform, but I don't think abusing those who are is acceptable. Discussion and opinion is fine.

    General Election - 4th July 2024

Well ban them then, then people can't vote for them, but if they are legally able to stand then it's the choice of the voter. Trust me I won't be voting for them but I'm not going to abuse somebody who does.

    General Election - 4th July 2024

I disagree, you have zero right, you can have your opinion on that party, but it's anybody's right to vote who they want.
  17. S

    General Election - 4th July 2024

Yes but it's not up to you or anyone else to tell some who they should and shouldn't vote for. That's the right of this country to vote who you want. You can have your opinion a certain party, but telling people they can't vote for that party is imo not acceptable .

I never get the anger from some about who others vote for. Vote for who you want that's the freedom our ancestors fought for.

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

What info, pep may or may not leave next season? We all knew that already. Pep himself said he'd sit down and talk to the club sometime next season and he will see how he feels. It was an article for the sake of an article.
