    Juventus (A) - Wed 11th Dec, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Although it would be typical City if we did beat them in our current form.

How long will the rebuild take?

Is that done in one transfer window or two?

But getting them to move mid-season is the other stumbling block unless they are not involved in any title charges or race for European places (or even relegation battles). Still have to throw more money to try and convince them to take the plunge.

    Cole Palmer

That would be debatable . He didn't do much during his starts at City in the league.

Txiki Begiristain to leave role at end of season

Oscar Bobb. Our latest prospect we are looking to mould into a first teamer who looked promising before his freak injury.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Availbility is the huge stumbling block as the players are just as valuable to the selling clubs. Bump up the price to more ridiculous levels than usual

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

    Penalties aside nope.

    Cole Palmer

    Nope.

Chelsea threw money and he took it and the rags would do the same and he would probably end up there at some point too.

    Cole Palmer

Shame he hasn't shown this level at City. Didn't look like anything like it whilst here. Funny that.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

He wasn't great at City either. Take away his penalties.

No different to any posters who keep mentioning needing new players either.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Foden. Savinho to some degree, Doku, Bernardo Silva, Grealish to some extent too for starters. See what Palmer is like against the most defensive sides and he wouldn't fair any better than our lads.

    The Title Race - 2024/25

We have cameback to win it in far later positions than we are current in.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

It is the truth. He would have struggled against low blocking sides for starters. He is a decent finisher but not better than our current side. Put his current Chelsea to one side for a minute.

    The Title Race - 2024/25

There haven't been any outstanding teams out of the current title contenders. Whilst we look unlikely in our current state we could easily get back in if we get a few more players back and get back into the winning habit.

Need is one thing getting players in January is entirely different proposition.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Palmer still would be wasting chances if he is at City. Same with our current players. He wouldn't have added anything different that we haven't got (apart from being fit)

Txiki Begiristain to leave role at end of season

It would be interesting to see how Palmer does against low block sides. I am not sure he has the overall quality to do so in open play. Spurs like to attack and like to leave gaps which is an ideal game for Palmer. In even our recent defeat we still had plenty of chances.

    Cole Palmer

And if he did he would have gotten more starts. As simple as that.
