    Donald Trump

Well it might ‘feel’ it is happening to them. Like I said having a strong Dow is not going to necessarily reassure someone that their job opportunities locally will improve and if they link that to Immigration, the rhetoric of the Republicans, this might sway their vote in the Republicans...

    Donald Trump

Cannot disagree with any of that but from the reports I’ve read the Democrats don’t really need to appeal to the Republicans entrenched supporter base just those who are not sure which way to vote, which suggests they have not yet been fully swayed by the lies of Trump/Vance etc. It’s reported...

    Donald Trump

And that is why winning the argument, changing the perception is vitally important for the Democrats according to the experts.

    Donald Trump

That might all be true but it’s down to people’s perception of a situation. Someone in Pennsylvania might not consider a strong Dow as materially impacting their lives.

    Castles

I’ve never been to the Pig but a work colleague was raving about the food, but moaning at the cost, when he visited. The Bankes Arms is also a great pub. Separate to pubs I love the Cafe on Durlston Head overlooking the sea, when the sun is out no better place for a breakfast.

    Castles

I live not a million miles from Corfe and my favourite training run starts in Corfe following the path to Kingston, climbing to the South west coast path, past Swyre head and Wolbarrow bay and then along the Dorset ridge path past Corte castle and back into the village. Stunning run and place.

    Atmosphere 2024/25

Yes everything came together that season. Loads of new songs got started which people liked singing ‘follow you everywhere’, ‘follow follow’, ‘Istanbul song (walker and Akanji). Atmospheres at home were great but also away at places like Bristol, Southampton, Bournemouth were outstanding. Great...

    Donald Trump

This is not a subject I am an expert on but have been following and listening to Podcasts on the election interviewing individuals heavily involved in the election process. There also seems to be a fourth group: Republicans (who could shift sides) and swing voters who see immigration and the...

There are plenty but Juan Mata jumps immediately to mind.

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

It’s a shame you missed it pal as it was a real high quality match between two very evenly matched sides.

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

I do think we have to take into account the context of the match. Inter away at the Etihad against arguably the favourites along with Real Madrid. I think in most matches they are a lot more expansive, but Inzaghi obv wanted to keep it tight at the back but retain a threat going forward and...

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Ha, you might be right but it was a proper tactical masterclass tonight. Could not help but admire it.

Inter (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

The match to me was anything but tedious. Inter played some great stuff and were a constant threat. If Pep goes Inzaghi would be the man to take over for me.

    Rodri's strike comment

I think your wider point is correct about the increase in work but running 828km is not really indicative of a player being over worked. It’s next to nothing in reality.

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

As someone who is a bit cynical about the club, and its direction of travel, that is great to hear.

    16 | Rodri 2024/25

I don’t actually think you got in wrong in that first season, it was a fair point, in the context of how we played. Like all players Rodri has some amazing qualities but I would still say his recovery pace isn’t one of his better qualities. What we see now, again, is the genius of Pep...

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

Do the club actually give tickets away to schools now? I know people whose kids go to City matches (In Dorset) in large groups but this is through packages, including a stadium tour/training session with the cost upwards of 150 quid. So I do wonder when we see groups of kids in the stand...

    Rodri's strike comment

I just struggle to have much sympathy for footballers. Other sportsmen work just as hard but without a fraction of the rewards available to footballers. Also although I completely agree a lot of the tournaments are pointless the players participation is very much determined by their employees...
