No idea what was said but the army chief certainly said the Uk should look at training the public. He said it back in January. But he wasn’t talking conscription, he was talking about training a volunteer force.

Not sure a famous person posing for a photo with people is the evidence you think it is. He would have done thousands of photos exactly like this without knowing the people he’s with.

Or at least EU membership. the EU has a mutual defence pact too so would have the whole EU behind them in any military fight. Not as big as Nato obviously but a big move.
