    Dave Watson has neurodegenerative disease

100% this. My father-in-law has had 10 years of this, and we've recently had to place him in a care home. Just awful to see the person slowly disappear in front of your eyes.

Even if that were the case, there will be no retrospective re-awarding of titles/medals. Always thought Maureen was a twat, this just reinforces it, if that's what he said.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

This is like a trip down memory lane of places I used to drink. @Prestwich_Blue The Junction opposite the brewery?

Would also make a great t-shirt with a picture of the middle finger beneath. I'm sure someone on here could do a mock-up.

I was under the impression that UEFA do apply a FMV to shareholder loans for their FFP calculations but don't shoot me if I'm wrong

Is it not a case of "Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach?" ;-)

The drop-off in turnover after the top 6 is quite stark. Tells you all you need to know re FFP/PSR and why it's in place. We really have upset the old cartel clubs.

Maybe Levy thinks they would take the CL spot with City out of the way. Probably didn't account for Villa or Newcastle in the last couple of years.

That's the beauty of being on here. You see comments on FFP/PSR/ATPs from so many different angles, and from so many well-informed posters.

I got this yesterday morning from the guy where I get a newspaper. Normally, I wouldn't give 2 shits but was having a bad morning and took him to task. He even got to stating the Mancini "off-books" contract FFS. In the end I think he was sorry he started it.

Palace - Didn't their owner recently state that he was a billionaire, but PSR didn't allow him to invest any of his fortune?

I think it’s a case of yes and no. Owners can introduce equity for infrastructure projects and the like, and also cover losses, but only up to allowable levels under FFP/PSR. I think this is how it works, but I’m no expert.

Is it not that loans can be repaid, equity can’t be withdrawn?

100% - just read a table of all the PL clubs, and this bunch of wankers were the main beneficiaries of interest-free shareholder loans.
