Manchester City v Celtic post match thread

Glasgow definitely has a similar feel to Manchester for me, or maybe Manchester a good few years back - open, friendly funny people mostly - dry sense of humour always wins

That's a bit harsh pal..they are a football club doing their best! This arrogance is new to me as a long standing blue. We used to be self deprecating, enjoyed the games, had a laugh..now we have some of this!! We struggle against Celtic first team or not usually

Manchester City v Celtic post match thread

I think all of our players played in Euros or Copa (Haaland and Grealish aside) be better not having Int'l football. Proper rest..then a late pr season tour with top players working on new systems etc in front of fans.. Players must get mentally fatigued as well as physically. It's not like our...

All time City away kit winner - 09/10 sash!

Funny, isn't it how people see kits, that was my worst lol! My favourite is one that many hated..1973 Blue with red and white diagonal and numbers on the sleeves!! Everyone keeps saying it looked like an NFL shirt!!!

Manchester City v AC Milan, Saturday July 27th, @ New York, Pre Match Thread

I think Phillips needs to play as much as possible in these friendlies, expensive asset, if we get him fitter and he improves a bit he will either be a more sellable asset or a better squad player. He does seem popular in terms of character which is important, he may have lost too much desire to...

You. Need a franchise model for that...at the moment we have independent ownership. Very very different

NBC want two English games to be played in USA

The FSA are right, if we mildly accept this then the game is gone, clubs will be shipped around the globe to play in Tokyo, Dubai, NYC, you name it...what a crock of sh*te - fight this from the start blues - Money isn't everything!

    Celtic Thread | 2024/25

We don't really start until end of September often - we do seem to rotate though depending on that sh*te int'l football. No summer tournament we can start really well...this year we could be mid table ibn mid sept easily

Rodri charged by UEFA over Gibraltar chant

This is why International football should be scrapped. You get 'footballers' who are not up to speed with actual politically situations singing silly terrace songs, often xenophobic as well. Footballers in general, around the world, come form poorer backgrounds, many start playing at 16 full...

Callum has been nothing but excellent in his extended loan spells (wasn't he player of the year at Cov?) He has real class and the games I have seen (admittedly on TV) he can really pick a pass - I was hoping we would have a team with both Doyles, MaCatee, Lewis, Palmer, Foden and Bobb in it one...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Pleasing isn't it..i think Pep will have one or two more but in his last year really work on a proper succession plan. I have a feeling he will take a break..do a World Cup with Argentina then take over as Football Director across the entire City group. Unique global position..football CEO

Was there for both. That rain was biblical coming off the sea front, we had tge wrong studs on for one.. im sure we had an inflatable et on that terrace and tge lad who brought it just kept whacking his mates with it..soaking us even more. My old man got the 'ump in the end!

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

The more we tell the truth the more those idiots who call themselves journalists get even more sycophantic. Its a game and i bet some read this. We know as proper gootball fans he undoubtedly has talent but needs a hell of a lot of work. Strangely makes some bad decisions which im not sure if...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

When you look at fat Sam's Bolton he had a lot of class players playing good stuff. I think he was a good manager who could organise a team around their strengths. Moyes being another
