There’s some benefit to be guaranteed a seat for every game but be able to choose which matches you attend / pay for. I can also see the case for no charge though.

Comtrary to your sneering essay, it's you that offers precisely nothing. If City’s execs say at least 10k tickets are transferred for the majority of games I tend to believe them. I don’t see somebody with a flexi good as being less worthy car holder than somebody with the “full season card”...

Lots of points being made about flexi golds and hyperbole. For balance, I would like to see criticisms by fans groups of season card hoarding. Emory seats left with some season card holders just attending the “big games”.
