@Alan Harper's Tash what’s the meaning of quoting someone then replacing it with a “.”? good point? They didn’t make a point you could understand? Confuses the fuck outta me but I’m not one of the hip kids around here.

Sadly it’s the news cycle. Some mundane shit knocks the important stuff off the front pages. Ukraine barely gets a mention these days.

He’s lost his chief of staff after 3 months and that’s a good thing in your book?

    47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

Yes mate I was there. Season ticket holder in 106. I spent a good 10 minutes watching Foden, he wasn’t finding space or demanding the ball IMHO. Well below his usual standards.

Foden did fuck all yesterday. A passenger in that game. We all love Foden but yesterday was a poor by his standards - he was hooked not long after so Pep wasn’t fussed about a goal in him. Let Jack have the last 30 minutes in the middle.

Wasn’t at it at all yesterday. Don’t recall seeing him show for, or demand the ball. Good he got more minutes in.

Was far better than Foden yesterday. He should have hooked Foden for Doku and moved Jack to the middle.

You’re wasted in the politics forum then. It’s full of posts from people without any direct knowledge or experience. Mostly my posts ;)

Cash in hand tax avoidance is as much as a problem for the treasury (in terms of lost revenue) as anything.

    Middle East Conflict

Of course but I don’t think it’s a hatred of Jewish people (always will be the odd nut job) but more people see a huge imbalance of power, very few of the missiles regular sent do any damage so there isn’t the same sympathy for Israel there would be if they got consistently through - for...

Nothing will ever solve while we hold on to historical wrongs. Each side of the argument has been a **** at some time and on various occasions.

Innocent civilians on all sides are the victims. No one side can claim the morale high ground.

The problem is the tax system is too complicated. Well meaning rules put in place exploited by those who don’t mean well.

Interesting article on BBC today. I had the impression that the 7th October attack was simply going after the festival goers however it was also against military targets which makes the murdering of the festival goers even more pointless. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cg7825rk8j9o

Iran are a bit stuck IMHO. They want nukes - that’s the game changer for them. They need Russian know how to achieve this. Russia wants their ballistic missiles to hit Ukraine with. There is a limit to what they can use against Israel if they want to achieve their ambition. Calm heads...

The problem is we look at people based on our own perceived work, value and capability. For example Mrs MB, if we are out for a meal at a restaurant, will think how long she has to work to earn the “tip” and if carrying a plate to the table is harder than what she does. I don’t think like...
