    NFL Football

I would imagine that Brady will be off to the Chargers; it's either them or Tampa Bay now. I think the Colts will go for Rivers and I don't think Brady would welcome playing at the twilight of his career in Peyton's shrine. I am interested to see who the Patriots go for now. Maybe they try and...

Agreed. I wanted Hooper as a replacement for Graham at the Packers. I would imagine that Njoku will be traded away by the Browns soon - maybe to Green Bay?

    NFL Football

Free Agency starts today (a nice distraction to things). Some huge deals already announced. One of the league's best wide receivers, DeAndre Hopkins, has been traded by the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals. That move also sees running back David Johnson (a good player, albeit...

    COVID-19 — Coronavirus

Goodricke is now on Campus East. The old Goodricke is now part of Vanbrugh College. The best place on campus is probably Courtyard (in the Derwent Quad) or D-Bar. Though, the Charles remains one of the better places in and around campus.

The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

Went to Aldi Chadderton at 10am today to get some pastries. Absolute bedlam; carpark full, four tills open, people ransacking the long-life milk, no trolleys. This was only 10 minutes after open.

Businesses most vulnerable in the pandemic.

I was told on Tuesday that there are contingency plans to make all exams remote. Now, as a History student, that is nothing strange for me - in fact, I am set to have only my second 'traditional' exam in three years this summer. God knows how that would work for the STEM subjects, though.

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

Not even a past. Every football club has had a past (obviously some more successful than others). It just happens that all the cartel clubs were successful at the exact moment football took off as a global sport, becoming increasingly commercialised and saturated with foreign investment from...
