    The Title Race 2022/23

Agreed. They have to go to Fulham, dippers and Toon. No way will they get maximum points out of those 3 games, IMHO. We must beat them at our place and avoid any slip ups ourselves. There's a lot of football to be played yet.

    Happy Record Crowd Anniversary

My dad was in that crowd too. I'm sure he told me once that they ran out of chips and Maine Road was only three quarters full at 80 mins :-)

    FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw | Burnley (H)

That was hilarious. I remember thinking "serves you right you rag twats". What a thick thing to do - drive through the City end of Wembley in an open top car. Aptly termed a 'rag top'.

    FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw | Burnley (H)

Went to Grimsby with City back in the 80's 2nd Division days. Pubs were all closed so a mate of mine went into a chippy instead. Came out with a pissed off look on his face saying "they've run out of fish". Didn't think that was possible in Grimsby :-)

    North Stand Construction Discussion

We've badly needed a single large tier exclusively filled with Blues ever since the stadium opened. This should solve the problem as long as we get the SS singers moving to the extended NS. We've all heard how the sound carries when away fans have had SS Level 3 to themselves and the new NS...

    VAR thread 2022/23

At the time I couldn't believe it showed up as Onside when the rag foot was clearly over the VAR line. That's how bent the game has now become. How do they explain that one ?

    Liverpool Thread - 2022/23

According to that report they were "mischievous ". Anyone else and it would been described as shocking behaviour. Anyway, disturbing the peace is a crime.

Arsenal or Tottenham? And other local rivalries.

I remember that day well. Coachload of them rolled up at the Railway in Openshaw for a pre-match session. They couldn't believe how cheap a pint of Holts lager was compared to darn sarf. They couldnt get enough down them & one of them told me the savings on the drink covered the cost of his...

Arsenal (A) | Post Match Thread

City should be making a complaint about anything and everything out of step that happens with every member of the Jealous Nine. Being friends has long gone.

    Media thread 2022/23

I was bought it a few years ago, and read it just before he turned into a fully qualified cnut. It eventually went in the bin. He's a bit like Putin wanting the old USSR back. Conn would be happy to still be sat in the Gene Kelly Stand watching City play the likes of Chesterfield in the pouring...

    Arsenal (A) - Wed 15th Feb, 19:30 | Pre-Match Thread

Yet as always an apology is expected and offered from others whenever the dippers are involved.

    Arsenal (A) - Wed 15th Feb, 19:30 | Pre-Match Thread

Spot on. What a snowflake society we live in when an apology has to be made for something like that. Clearly sarcastic, in context and aimed at the media, not Gerrard. Anyone who didn't get it needs serious counselling IMHO. I bet Pep was giving that apology through gritted teeth.

Premier League Games 11/12/13 Feb '23

    That's rather ironic :-)

Lord Pannick to represent City / Pannick's OJ-style Summation

Laughed my head off when that was unfurled yesterday. For wit and topicality it takes some beating. Hats off to the guys (or should it be wigs ?)

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You could be right. I agree that any deal should include a total vindication. Anything less should be unacceptable to City.

    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

I'll be there, and I'll be doing it. It's a long time since I've been as wound up as this.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If they do drop their case then I sincerely hope City take them for damages. We have to put an end to all this. The twats have been after us for years, and all because we broke up their little gravy train. The PL is a broken product which they're desperately trying to hang on to.

Coach Welcome v Villa on Sunday @ 15:00

Should get Lorraine as the chief cheerleader :-)

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I would be amazed if City's legal team don't use this to discredit the PL. That's really all they need to do, discredit them. If we have enough evidence to back up our innocence that would be the back stop.
