We'll have to agree to differ. One if the worst stadium configurations I've ever seen is at PSG. At both ends the home fans are miles from the pitch and yet the atmosphere is sensational. It's not just us, it's the whole of English football.

Disagree. Wherever I'm sat I shout and clap. I'm in 105 and as soon as SSL1 start up with "stand up for the champions" I'm up on my feet. Occasionally embarrassing when no one around me joins in but I'm not even asking for that level of commitment, just clapping and joing in the songs. It makes...

The lack of atmosphere is nothing to do with the configuration of the stadium and 100% to do with the half hearted support of the fans in the stands. We need to stop agonising about the new NS L2 being a 'home end' and start making some noise wherever we are sat.

If you weren't born somewhere you'll always be a tourist. My parents came to England, from Ireland, in their late teens, as soon as travel restrictions were lifted after WW2, and spent their entire adult lives here. Fifty years later 'home' was still Ireland.

I think the mood of the thread is that we've got this, but as nobody knows anything we might as well just keep talking over the same issues repeatedly. It's reassuring, but we do sound like a bunch of old women (no offence @Eccles Blue ;-)).

If the investigation hadn't been made public, I wonder if the PL would perhaps have decided to not proceed, even with the red tops pressuring them? I also wonder if looking back, the PL wish they'd waited for the CAS verdict before instigating the investigation.

If case hadn't been forced out in the open (Daily Mail was it?) maybe there would have been a settlement.

Isn't it a PL requirement that away fans are at pitchside? Exceptions have been made for United and Newcastle.

That's logical, so maybe. But someone earlier on the thread seemed to think that the remaining three home games will all be the same price, based on the advanced information for hospitality.
