The only point I am trying to make, which backs up other posters, is that you can't be imprisoned for chanting. I repeat, "Racially or religiously aggravated section 5 is a summary only, non-imprisonable offence and the maximum penalty is a level 4 fine.' Taken from here...

Liverpool FC illegally used credentials (that City should have cancelled when the users left their employment) to access City's data. That isn't the fault of Liverpool's fans.

    UK far right trouble

Racially or religiously aggravated section 5 is a summary only, non-imprisonable offence and the maximum penalty is a level 4 fine. Under current law, you can't be imprisoned for chanting. Anyone who has been imprisoned has been convicted of at least one other imprisonable offence.

I agree. It's like the office junior making a mistake. It was stupid. He'll be punished for it. But it shouldn't mean the end of his career. I imagine he'll get a demotion though.

    Arsenal Thread | 2024/25

The man's a lunatic. I read that he hired some pickpockets to steal from his players during a club meal, then used it as a lesson that they should always be on the alert. It's a bit of an extreme lesson. You tend to be on high alert in certain situations, such as when you are on public...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I thought the intention was to make appropriate adjustments in PSR to remove the benefit of interest-free loans. Sounds like they are actually going to force clubs to pay the interest or convert the loans to equity. This will take money out of football unnecessarily. Surely, allow the interest...

Not saying thank you to courteous motorists

Hahaha. Nobody does it to receive thanks. They do it because they are polite and courteous road users.

Not saying thank you to courteous motorists

I had an Amazon delivery yesterday, while I was taking my car to be serviced. They didn't bother ringing the door bell, giving my wife an opportunity to deliver. Instead, they put the package in the blue bin, which was out on the street, waiting to be collected, that same morning.

Not saying thank you to courteous motorists

Fully agree with this. This group is easily identifiable by their flashing indicators and purple rinses. But for all other categories of motorists that fall outside of this group and still fail to acknowledge your kind gesture, they are very rude. FWIW, I always give way to taxis and delivery...

Yeah. A lot of my books are in audio format, as I do a lot of running. I commented on Steven Pacey's narration when I left a review of one of the earlier books. He definitely enhances the experience of these books.
