This is a very good illustration of why De Bruyne is on the pitch whenever possible, form or fitness be damned. Even when he's off it he at least tries to make something happen. There's no way he would have not tried to put Haaland through in the same position that Gündy didn't

We're playing like we're 4-0 up here, and we're not. A bit more urgency and variety in how we progress the ball would really help. Our wingers don't cross the ball and our central midfielders don't play through balls. It leaves us creating precious little despite our obvious superiority
