    9 | Erling Haaland - 2024/25

Another consequence of the net spend masterclass in the summer is that haaland is having to play 90s almost every game without a trusted back up. Looks knackered

    Spurs (A) - Wed 30th Oct, 20:15 | EFL Cup | Pre-Match Thread

I think all the seniors who didn’t play today will play plus Nunes. Otherwise kids. Ortega Kid stones ake JWE O Reilly gundo Nunes Kid mcatee kid Could be grim out there

    Right back options……

The last player to leave liverpool for city got non-stop media harassment for like 2 years, so Trent just wouldn't do it not when a nice easy controversy free move to Madrid is there . It's funny because when Milner did the reverse he pretty much was celebrated as a hero by media.

    Southampton (H) - Sat 26th Oct, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Team almost picks itself? Maybe there's a choice at CB and in CM but that's pretty much it. Ederson Lewis Akanji Dias Gvardiol Kovacic Bernardo Foden Savinho Haaland Nunes

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2024/25

Seems like another return date tba injury that goes on for months. As good as he is injuries are doing him in now I think. Quality is still there but we get t 25 games a year

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2024/25

We've barely created a chance for him since the Rodri injury, and he was looking insane before that. Pep just seems like he's itching to play false 9 without Rodri, but can't drop haaland so he's just using him as a decoy against his will anyway. It's annoying and not a fan of it, can't help...

    Women's Team Thread 2024/2025

Would be curious to know when the last time city sacked a manager at any level, i don't even think Pellegrini counts as he wasn't sacked as much as not renewed. It's forever anyway and when pep is your manager that's a great policy, when Taylor is I'm less sold. Hard to argue he hasn't...

Still not sold on the guy tbh, reckon in the generous period of time he's had we'd have won a couple of league titles under somebody else.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

Not here for flak, but I don't think Phil has played well for england at all really. Yes the system is inferior, but I feel like he's standing around waiting for England to play like City which is never gonna happen unless Pep becomes england manager. Maybe there's the odd game he's done well...

Gareth Taylor seems to have a bit of a track record of this.

thought we were shite tbh! Very happy with the win, but pep feels a long way from having his post Rodri team sorted. Flailing atm.

Pep cant just drop all the difference making players without rodri, its too fearful and we'll stop scoring. By his subs, hoping he learned the lesson

    Rodri solution

Think it’ll be a double pivot all year, 2 to cover for one. I think gundo and kova will rotate in the 6 and Bernardo will play as a second deeper midfielder alongside. That’ll mean one of kdb and foden ( foden to lose out) but to compensate I think we’ll see a lot of savinho and doku on the...

    Watford (H) - Tues 24th Sept, 19:45 | EFL Cup | Pre-Match Thread

Imo we play 2 out of 3 from gundo, Bernardo and kovacic in every game for the rest of the season so none of them can play in this game lol. Ortega Lewis stones Dias kid Foden o Reilly mcatee Grealish kid Nunes Wouldn’t be surprised if more kids play as well tbh and we just throw the game

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

hard end to a hard year. From the stories we've heard its clear city weren't ecstatic about his season either and he basically didn't play at all in the run-in, so as duff as southgate is (dunk over branthwaite lol) I don't think he can be too savaged with so many other options in his position...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

For fear of a pile on, if alvarez were to go i wouldn't mind Calvert-Lewin as new back up striker. Injury record is bad but playing less would hopefully take care of that, 1 year on deal so fee would be in the kovacic range. Think he has a lot of technical quality and is a similar profile to...

Alvarez done deal - £82m to Atletico

would sell tbh, i think he's good and has an eye for goal, but he's too good to sit here for 5 years as haaland's backup and there's just no way he displaces haaland so he goes probably this summer or next. Given the fee we paid anything 65 and above is good work I think. He has his flaws too.

    5 | John Stones - 2023/24

Will be interesting to see what happens with his contract. 2 years left and 30 this summer, right now I wouldn’t renew. Think next season he needs to prove he can stay fit for a larger part of the season and if not we should sell in 2025.
