League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

Bollocks. He makes himself sound stupid when he comes out with statements like that saying it was 100% offside. He clearly does not know the rules.

League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

The legends final. Aguero, Kompany and Silva the scorers, how fitting that these guys scored the goals. Been there since the start of the journey.

FC Basel V Manchester City - Post-Match Thread

Good to see Delphino, Gundog and Sane back. Bernardo getting better with a run of games. Time to step up a gear at the business end of the season and players will be champing at the bit to get into the first 11. 4 0 Away from home I would have bit your hand off. Ok a bit shaky at the back at the...

    Newcastle (H) Post Match Thread

Delighted with the 3 points and back to winning ways. Were a few nervy moments at 2-1 but great skill from Sane to set Sergio up and coast to victory. Would like to see us get a left back in before end of Jan. Wonder if anyone has bought that lad from Napoli he was class against us in the...

    Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread.

Typical Anfield result from us. Too many players not on their game today and too many mistakes made at the back. Thought we badly missed David Silva to control the midfield and help KDB. Positive point we never gave up. We were always going to lose somewhere so losing here is not anything to...

City v Bristol City 1st leg post match

Mangala...makes a championship defender look good. Bristol City played really well far more adventurous than most premier league teams. Got to hope Aguero does not get injured. Painful to watch our first half finishing. We are City we fight till the end. Take the win after that.

    Most improved player this season

Delph has came on leaps and bounds this year. Slotted in easily to left back.

Man of the Match - Crystal Palace (a)

Kyle Walker....brushed aside Palace danger man Zaha time and time again.

    Utd v City post match

Tactical masterclass from Pep, never let Valencia or Young get up the park. To go to the swamp and control the football...oh the joys. Then to score with 2 scrappy goals. Noel Gallagher in the Sky studio said him and Graeme Souness were laughing their heads off in front of Gary Neville, love it.

    Napoli post-match thread

Take the 3 points against a very good Napoli team. Amazing first 30 mins from City blew them away but equally impressive how they got back into the game. Return will be interesting no English side has ever won in Naples. Let's see if we can do it.

Man of the Match - Napoli (h)

Stones just edged out Ederson in my opinion then Fernandino.

Man of the Match - Chelsea (a)

Notable mentions to Ederson, Delph, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Silva, Fernandino, Sterling, Sane, Jesus, Gundogan and B Silva but KDB just nicks it ! Stepped up a level this year and putting in some impressive perfomances with crucial goals.

    Chelsea(A) - Post Match Thread

So that's how PEP wants his team to play, masterclass. Can we do that to Utd please that would be fun to watch ! KDB is turning in some world class perfomances but overall that was a huge team performance, not a bad player on the park for us.

Man of the Match - Shakhtar (h)

Fernandino for me, made countless last ditch tackles that covered the defence. KDB and Delph were also good. KDB showing remarkable consistency this year.
