Not happening as long as Pep is here.

Michael Olise | Bayern Munich Player

Have to admit that immediately put me off him when it happened. Balotelli just about got away with this attitude but when you score 2-4 goals a season, to pretend like you're not bothered and not excited at all about an injury time equaliser just looks pretentious.

Michael Olise | Bayern Munich Player

Never been huge fan of his and I would be a hypocrite to go back on that just because he's linked. I doubt anyone on here would be impressed if we signed Zaha, so why on earth would Olise, who plays in the same Palace team but provides a comparatively dismal output, be any better?

    Josko Gvardiol

Childish is par for the course for a club named after Red Bull.

    Josko Gvardiol

The first chapter of the book about Pep at City is about how we had to promise we would build him a mansion in the middle of Manchester to persuade him to come. There was not much negotiating involved, let's be honest. We gave him everything he asked for and would've given even more if he needed...

    Kalvin Phillips

That’s true but I can’t remember any struggle as much as Phillips has to get the basics right. Misplaced passes and Miscontrolled balls are inevitable but I don’t think fans are being unreasonable to point out that he does both much more often than you’d expect. He wasn’t always like this so...

Match Thread | Man City vs Yokohama (22/07/23)

Let's not pretend he just proved every critic wrong. He ran toward the goalkeeper. That was it. Been incredibly poor other than that.

Match Thread | Man City vs Yokohama (22/07/23)

You don't need a notepad and pen to notice that he's misplaced loads of passes. It's fine to say someone's been bad when they have.

    Pre-Season - Yokohama (A) | Pre-Match Thread | Sun 23 Jul 11:00

Thought so but got told in another thread that the injury wasn't actually bad. Last time I take someone on here's word for it.

    Josko Gvardiol

The overarching point, which I agree with, is that national team managers aren't just emotionless robots who pick the objectively best player in each position, so their opinions aren't worth reading that much into.

    Pre-Season - Yokohama (A) | Pre-Match Thread | Sun 23 Jul 11:00

Given who is on the tour (and assuming that we will play much stronger teams for Bayern and Atletico), my perfect lineup for this morning would be something like this: Ortega Stones Akanji Aké Phillips Kovacic McAtee Silva Bobb Alvarez Grealish Always excited for the first pre-season game...

    Josko Gvardiol

Do we have any evidence that Pep's the one pushing for Gvardiol?

Really doesn't feel like a major issue if this doesn't happen.

    Cole Palmer

Chelsea at home the day after we won the league, it was a year or more before that.

    Cole Palmer

He's a winger for the best club in the world and he just went a straight year without a goal or assist. Looked promising early on but I would be very surprised if he turns it around from here.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Antony is one of the worst players in the Premier League.

    Shortened that for you.
