    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2024/25

I'm not in any way criticising De Bruyne he has been one of if not the greatest players the club has had... but he's another example of Txiki, Pep and the board becoming complacent. It was obvious for all of last season that age and injury were rapidly catching up with him but there were...

    Support Pep

This is something that other club's supporters simply can't comprehend (especially the two sets of red mard arses) and would probably say we're just putting a front on... but for me this current situation and what we do to try and rectify it is just as engaging as breaking records and winning...

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

Yes that's the only real conclusion I can draw, as you say not specifically referring to our players right now but just that some players are generally far more "injury prone" than average.

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

Again that's down to a specific weakness, ie a weak immune system. Like if a player had a specific weakness such as a weak ACL or weak Achiles I could understand it. I'm more talking about players who seem to constantly pick up a wide and varied range of different unrelated injuries.

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

I've never really understood the notion of how and why certain players are "injury prone" Obviously if they've got a weakness to a specific muscle, ligament or joint that results in a recurring injury it makes sense, but when they just seem to constantly suffer from an abnormally high number...

Has there been a single manager since the piss can left that the idiot fans have not proclaimed to be "the real deal" on their appointment? I can't recall them having reservations about any of them.

    Europa/Conference League | Gameweek 5 | 28 Nov '24

Jesus fuckin Wept, I can't even imagine just what that actually involves. What an absolute clown club they are, all hype, preening and posturing to appeal to the sad inadequates that are their fans.

    Europa/Conference League | Gameweek 5 | 28 Nov '24

Not been watching the rag match but I bet as usual the players celebrated each goal like they've just scored a worldie against Real Madrid to win the Champions League final. I'm sure it's written in their contracts that they always have to perform wild, over the top celebrations for the cameras...

    Your favourite City crisis?

It's the self mocking, self depreciation and gallows humour that makes us so unique amongst the big clubs, all the others have fan bases who are arrogant, entitled and very very thin skinned.

    The Labour Government

As I said, it's so easy to blur the lines when it comes to the finances of farming that quoting any figure of average profit, average income, average expenditure is utterly meaningless, even for just one individual farm never mind the sector as a whole. I'm not opposed to farmers at all and I'd...

    The Labour Government

When it comes to farming I doubt there's any other industry where the business owners are able to blur the lines so much between the commercial business and domestic life, and in all aspects not just the financial side, even the more subjective issue of work-life balance. All I know is despite...

Nope. Old fashioned independent family owned shop.

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Any manager who would have taken the rag job instantly loses all their credibility just by the very fact of them taking the rag job. I'd even include Pep in that.

    The Labour Government

I'm not necessarily saying there is a viable way, it's the left who insist all our economic woes are solely due to huge corporate entities not paying their share of tax and they refuse to accept that there are various other reasons for the country being such an economic basket case.

    The Labour Government

Well that's strange because my local family owned corner shop employs 3 staff all working enough hours to qualify for paying NI...

    The Labour Government

How many billions of pounds of taxes is the average local family owned corner shop avoiding paying? Things are all relative.

    The Labour Government

Those rules apply to all employers, from Amazon through to your local family owned corner shop... so hardly specifically targeting just the huge corporate entities.
  18. J

    The Labour Government

Well its not necessarily only the very richest farmers, and if the aim was to stop rich people avoiding IHT then there were plenty of far better ways to do it. That they chose to do it this way tells you a money grab isn't really the aim.

No surprise to see united's women adopt the same win at any cost by fair means or foul ethos that's already so deeply ingrained in the men's team... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14095523/Manchester-United-Women-SLAMEMD-unsporting-behaviour-WSL-Leicester.html
