How many more people will now become City fans?

I chose City as an underdog. I think many fans did. Unfortunately the new fans we acquire now are going to be those that like to choose the easier option. That's just an inevitable fact.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The fanbase has nothing to do with it. That's how stupid so many of them are. It's the exposure that City have and theoretical image they represent. The fan base is just a nice little extra, but it's really not a huge factor. If we had a billions fans but little TV exposure, it wouldn't be worth...

Inter Milan (N) | Champions League Final | Post Match Thread

It hasn't really hit home yet. We actually did it. I wouldn't begrudge another team winning the lottery either. If a fan can experience this once in a lifetime, I wouldn't object to it. I really do object to certain other clubs and fanbases who really do believe they have a divine right to...

    Pitch invasions

There are hundreds of way to celebrate our success. Expressly going against the request not to invade, and giving yet more ammunition to our detractors is just daft. You can't even argue it's a moment of euphoria as the league was already won. Not sure - I was just in awe of his daftness. He...

    Pitch invasions

Absolute buffoons the lot of them. Loads of tourists taking selfies and kids sliding repeatedly like little demons possessed, but the worst of all what that Frank Gallagher type idiot in his mid 40's goading the stewards near the south stand. A cockwomble of the lowest order.

They won't be in the beach against us. We will have to play well to win

    West Ham United (A) | Post-Match Thread

We did well to salvage something today. West Ham's game plan was good - it's hardly the first time teams have sat back and got us on the break. If you can take your chances, you can beat City this way. I don't know if Sterling or Foden would have made a difference - we'll never know. West Ham...

Match Thread | West Ham vs Man City (15/05/22)

We can't go all out crazy to try and salvage something - the danger of losing even more goals is a big issue now.

Match Thread | West Ham vs Man City (15/05/22)

Poor that. We'll be lucky to salvage a draw here as they're half decent on the break and it's a bit of a weak point for us. They can carry on sitting back in numbers now with a lot of comfort. It's going to take a lot of creativity to get past them.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Shit happens. Unfortunately, it happens to us in Europe too often. It was a team who have a lot of chances but are wasteful vs one with few chances who are clinical. Gutted. It was in our hands, but we have only ourselves to blame for letting it slip. I fully expect Liverpool to win handsomely.

Liverpool FA Cup s/f (N) | Post Match Thread

Disagree. We gave it a damn good go, and we DID compete for the quadruple. We just didn't succeed. Liverpool are doing the same, and they are certainly competing. I think both teams are setting new standards and showing it IS possible. Just because it's not been done yet doesn't make it impossible.

    The Title Race - 2021/22

The table won't lie at the end of the season. If Liverpool win it, it'll because they deserved it. Likewise for us. We've no divine right. We are more than capable of going on yet another strong run.

    Harry Kane

Good old Bild. Surprised they aren't running a daily column on Pep's bowel movements - such is extent of their inside information.

Champions League Final | Post-Match Thread

We didn't give a great account of ourselves - but that's City all over. We're a million times better than we used to be, but sometimes, you simply can't win everything, even when you're the better team overall (not on the night). Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, United, Juventus - they've...

    Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

Looked a penalty to me. Poor game management from City. Should have slowed the game down, but instead it looked like we wanted to beat them with 10 men. That said, maybe there's no harm in trying that when the league is won. Garcia won't be missed.
