Nearly all the players were poor tonight.

Haha. If you are going to have have a bad one then do it properly. Every chance they have taken brilliantly.

I wouldn't rush to judgement on any player playing for Southgate as to how they might play under Pep. Stones is one of the best at winning headers for us and seems off the pace here. Anyway Sterling to score.

You can't judge players in this game. James and Bowen have been really good for their teams and look poor here. Kane, Stones and Saka not looking at their best Long season, poor tactics, who knows.

    Media Thread - 2021/22

Driving home put on 5 live for the sports news. After the tennis (always first on), the cricket, then the football news: Gareth Bale hasn't decided what club to go to, followed by the Chelsea women's team have announced a series of dates in America this summer. That's it. Nothing else of note...

Kalvin Phillips | Joins City on a 6-year deal

I would trust the club's ability to judge the potential of a player in our squad above the random Bluemoon poster. Just look at the matchday thread for the opinions on the current players who have won the premier league 4 out of the last 5 years. Our player recruitment over the last few years...

Kalvin Phillips | Joins City on a 6-year deal

"City are willing to pay up to £60 million". Like as if anyone involved in the transfer is going to be let it known to a journalist what our maximum figure would be. Or that we regularly overpay for our stars. Our two new forwards look like bargains. If we have looked at Philips and rate him I...

This commentary is just laying into Jack. No expectation of Mount or Abrahams. Doing my head in. The quick toe poke might have nestled in the corner if it wasn't from an instinctive block from the defender.

    Grealish keeps setting them up.

It's a bit grim this game. We try and pass neatly but it breaks down as some of the players are just not up to it. Then they break on us. I wonder if they are just knackered. I've seen Rice, Saka and Kane play miles better. I don't really see why Mount is playing, he just seems a bang average...

Just a series of injuries this game. What's the point after a long hard season.

Back home now. Felt like I was having a heart attack during the second half. Really happy. Zinny and Gundogan were awesome weren't they.

Good atmosphere in the concourse before the game. We'll do this. Come on you blues! Back on here after the match, unless we are thrashing them..

Is Manchester airport the worst in Europe?

Went through Wednesday the week before and no real queuing problems, just as usual. Whereas the Monday at the same terminal (1) was the day with huge queues out of the door and people missing their flights. Was really worried, but was no problem on the day. Just seems random.

Premier League Games 15/16/17/19 May '22

Southampton have been poor recently. Is it loss of form or injuries or something? I've not been following them closely. They somehow defend brilliantly against us, it's probably too much to expect tonight isn't it?

    Erling Haaland

And yet Sky and the Telegraph have added the figures up and made it £250 million!
