I think they’re either so young they lack common sense / other fans in disguise or a few screws short - it’s just insanity to moan about anything Rodri does……he walks on water !!

Haha I love Johnny Stones but I am amazed you think he’s more or equally as important as Rodri…..we barely win a game without one and do fine without the other - not that I am disputing his class or insane improvement under Pep as both a centre back and DM.

Anyone got a problem with ‘Rodders’ needs to give their head a wobble and realise just how lucky we are to have him…….he can have the first 2 or 3 weeks off and still be worth more to us than most players in the prem - most important player in our team bar none.

It’s not a recent VC related trend though - they’ve been a one horse league for a long time….last season aside (potentially this one too). But ok yeah I see your point

I share your dislike of Bayern but VC is a an absolute legend for me - cannot help but want to see him do well! I wish Alvarez well but despite winning a treble, he’s not in the VC league of club legends for me.

I’ve not seen any of Vinny’s Bayern - what do you hate about them ? I want him to do well but I’m not fond of Bayern so mixed feelings about it.

I hope he gets a permanent move somewhere that suits him, not a bad player and maybe we’d be better playing at CB as he’s not capable of close control in tight situations and then producing the right range of passes……he can pass a ball but just not under the pressure of the Rodri role.

He’s not a bad player - just not suitable to fulfil the demands of the Rodri role in our team, his close control and distribution is below what we need in that position.

If he can play even half decent in Rodri’s position then has to stay - KP has proved he’s not good enough for the cups ….hoping Nunes comes good this season. Only position we can have any concerns about is Rodri back up.
