Cancelo is not the best defender but, against West Ham, he looked by far our best attacking player. It was refreshing to see him run at their defenders and showed up the lacklustre displays of Sterling and Mahrez.

I think Dias could soon become the leader of the team and he is still young. In fact our defenders are mostly of a very good age which bodes well for the future. Dias 23, Laporte 26, Ake 25, Cancelo and Mendy also both 26. Although Walker is 30 I think he can carry on for years yet.

Signing KDB on a longer contract would be fantastic. He is one of the best players in the world and has a good 5 years left at the top.
