Wembley boasts to be a "public transport" stadium and street parking is not permitted within 2 miles of the stadium. Yet it is physically impossible to return to Wigan by train if the game runs into extra time. Figure that one out.

5 minute walk from Euston to Euston Square, Metropolitan line north, 4 stops and you're there.

If you're getting an off peak return best advice is to not get a ticket for a specific train, keeps your options open. There will be ticket checkers and dibble at the platform at Euston so that's where tickets will be checked. Then pitch up in 1st class where there's loads of space.... There...
