    It’s [Not] Quiet 19 - Txiki’s Cheeky Farewell Presents

I'd imagine it's got everything to do with quality, availability and the cost of buying from another Premier League club. Much better value to be had shopping abroad, there always has been.

    Tyson Fury retires (again).

Does anyone actually believe the rag prick? Just the usual boxing nonsense of "retiring" to set up a big comeback (payday) a few months down the line. Probably when the Saudi's next throw a big money offer on the table.

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

I used to work with a bloke who would often advertise his season ticket around work for games he couldn't/didn't want to attend. It was quite a few games every season. An email would go out to anyone he knew was a blue. He'd sell his ticket at face value - that being what a general sale ticket...

Stupid little things that bug you

Dry Robes. Seemingly the weapon of choice for middle aged women. I mean, why are you wearing your swimming towel to do the school run?

If you think the rags are going to be allowed to fall foul of the Premier League's PSR rules, I've got some magic beans to sell you. They'll probably find some more COVID allowances down the back of Scruffy Jim's sofa.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Agreed. Let's throw away everything we are as a club and aspire to be more like Spurs. Fair play to the lad who played in goal for Tottenham last night, but it's one game, or being the first leg only half a game really, in the Carabao Cup. Will he prove to be a long term goalkeeping option for...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Or that not signing anyone yet is a clear indicator that the 115 case has gone against us. Or that we're going to get battered away at Brentford if we don't have new players signed and in the team by then.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Agreed. Pep clearly loves Ake, and it seems like Ake is willing to push through when not fully fit. Stones........not sure what's going on there but his fitness was never great and it appears to have fallen off a cliff. When reliability becomes such an issue, decisions have to be made.

    Vitor Reis | £29.4m deal agreed (p43)

Let's see if the two incomings happen first, there was a lot of noise around Bah but that's faded away. But I tend to agree with you. Doyle will probably be another sale with buy back/sell on clauses. Simpson-Pusey perhaps next season's loanee with a view to a similar deal in the summer of 2026.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This information was aired on the same national radio station, so may also carry some credibility? Or, both Jordan and Goldstein are tabloid radio know-nowts, happy to say anything for attention.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I'm pretty sure that someone was a club shop wearing wanker who no longer resides/works in Merseyside.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes, I think you are paranoid. If the PL knew which way the case was going/had gone, and it was against City, the PL wouldn't be passing whispers around to end up with the used car salesman on Talksport. The usual suspects in the media would be well aware and what is going to happen to City...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

And if we don't bring anyone in before the Brentford game, it's a clear indicator the 115 has gone against us?

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

As far as we know. And even if we haven't, we're on day 6 of THIRTY ONE.

    United Thread | 2024/25

Luckily there are 37 other games in the season and we tend to do much better than the rags over those. It's weird how Liverpool fans and players seem to get much more wound up about playing City than they do the rags. Given the media would have you believe El Plastico is the biggest and...
