    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Well Portugal have just managed to win the Nations League with Bernardo, and he has won every trophy going with us, so yes I don’t think Pep will just discard him. I think he will play a very important role. As the other post wrote players don’t necessarily adapt and so to replace such good...

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Exactly, for a multitude of reasons. The style of play, adapting to a new league, how the family settles, change in culture/environment. So many great players have moved to the Premiership but not every move works out. We’re in a great position that we still have great players, seasoned...

Season ticket holders non attenders numbers

Only if United choose to release them into the press so the club can justify their actions, using a false narrative, to conceal their real motivations for lowering season ticket numbers. Every knows how secretive our club is about how tickets are allocated but when it suits there happy to...

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2024/25

Not sure he has ever relied on his physicality and yet has still managed to Influence many a football match. Let’s see how the likes of Reijnders and Gonzalez adapt next year to the rigours of the Premier League and playing instead of Cherki will be for tactical reasons. I don’t see a world...

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Yes players who have won Premier Leagues, Fa Cups, Champions league and have served the club with distinction will probably have precedence over the new recruits. Those players will have to prove they are good enough to replace them.

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2024/25

Bit tough to judge Bernardo on last season as he was a victim of our tactics. The more cautionary style of play last year, as we were more tactically focused on preventing transitions negatively impacted Bernardo’s game. Too many square balls, slowing play down and recycling possession. Having...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

It does but ‘singing a chant’ about a player is not an accurate barometer of their popularity. Sometimes people just like the chant. David Silva, never had a recurring chant about him (David dilfe ole for a short period) and he was also universally loved.

Season ticket holders non attenders numbers

Yes I think the availability of tickets and slow sales at the back end of the season has been an eye opener for the club. The fact the fans could mobilise/organise protests and the ‘occasional fan’ demand is not a given has made the club think again. They have been forced to show a bit more...

Season ticket holders non attenders numbers

If you cannot understand the reasoning you are either blind to what is happening with the club and its ticket policy or you (understandably) don’t make the journey yourself. As for deserving it some of those people, who won’t make half the games, have probably been season ticket holders for...

    26 | Savinho - 2024/25

Had a really promising couple of months at the start of the season, a little lull before a renaissance when he played left wing and then struggled over the back end of the season. Probably a 6.5/10 over the whole season. Players like Rodri, Bernardo, Sane had poorer first seasons than he did...

    Florian Wirtz

Looks a great player but be interesting to see how Slot fits him into the Liverpool's style of play. Not sure Szoboszalai has played to his full potential at Liverpool and that could be partly due to the way they play. Slot seems to prefer a more controlled style of play, and that would suit...

    Season Tickets - 2025/26

No it’s not you would think the club might make exemptions for severe weather conditions, but I can understand that maybe difficult to manage. It’s tough enough, in the dark in winter, without the complexity of the weather. It’s only football at the end of the day.

    Season Tickets - 2025/26

Funnily enough there were two home matches where a storm raged afterwards and I attended both. One was Spurs the 5:30 kick off, driving home it was strangely hot, until I hit Warwick services, around 11/11:30 and then the storm arrived. On reflection completely selfish of me to attend the match...

    Season Tickets - 2025/26

I fall into that bracket. I usually make 10 plus matches at the very least but with 4 of the last 5 home matches getting moved to midweek I could not justify the two days off, so ended up going less than usual and ironically missed a few Saturday, earlier in the season, to prioritise the games...

I try and do this after each run based on listening to an American running podcast. Get some pretty strange looks especially when your walking backwards and someone is walking forwards in the same direction.

Druridge bay is a fantastic run around the lake, great cafe for brekky afterwards and then a pretty much deserted beach a minutes walk from the cafe for your warm down. Worth a visit whether park running or not @beehive_bob

Kevin De Bruyne | Appreciation thread

Not sure KDB is the type of player to appreciate the exposure/intrusion into his life. Hope it works out for him, Napoli is a fantastic club, but not necessarily suited to everyone.

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2024/25

No chance for me. He is pretty much untouchable in the squad. Fully understand the way Pep wants to play, pretty much his lieutenant on the pitch esp as time is catching up with Gundogan. Think he will be as highly valued as ever

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2024/25

Peps go-to guy. Will be a regular starter next season once again. Not a chance he will leave unless he wants to.
