    General Videogame Thread

The wording doesn't fill me with much hope of a refund. "For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com and we will do our best to help you.” Just says they will do...

    I’m off to Currys

Being able to reload by text is a game changer. You can get 4% off supermarkets at mine but you need to order the card beforehand and wait for it to arrive in the post before you can spend it. Too much faffing about for me!

    I’m off to Currys

Might have got it through company benefits scheme. I know my place offers 8% off at Currys but you have to buy a gift card with the funds on. Good idea if you're spending a decent chunk of money but I'd still rather go elsewhere.

Haha true, no idea what happens then!

I heard about that, I'd probably risk it for €30 on arrival. Wonder what happens if you test positive though, kept in the airport and straight on the next flight home?

If that comes into place then it's going to be a pain in the arse sorting out a test. Last I saw was £120 from Boots!

Cheers for the info, glad to hear it isn't too busy as that should hopefully mean cases remain low and it stays on the travel list.

Anyone know a website which shows the cases per 100,000 for the Canary Islands? Trying to weigh up the risk on booking flights for mid November. Was hoping to track cases to see if there's any great increase during the next week or so.

    Non league football.

Been going to different non league clubs each weekend, 5 so far and all draws so hows that for luck! A couple were FA Cup qualifiers so got the drama of a penalty shoot out too. £10 entry fee and allowed to have a pint in view of the game, can't beat it. Much more enjoyable than Premier League...

    Sian Massey

Mens and womens football may be different but the job of the referee remains the same. Makes no difference to the game what gender the referee is.

Good luck to those still hoping on getting away this year. I'm in Poland and it's meant to piss it down all week but I'm going to make the best of it. Could have been in Greece with 30c but I bottled it with the rising cases there!

What's the view on Poland? Reckon it'll be struck off this week?

Getting too close for comfort now.. especially as they could put quarantine in whilst I'm away and that would end up in a race to get back home. Think I'll stick with going Poland for a few days, not the same as lying on the beach with a beer in hand but it's better than nothing!

Think it's changed now due to government telling them to close up. Now have to go through the gov website, I kept getting a too busy message (not that I would get tested just to go on holiday)

Looking like Greece could be off the cards by the time I want to go next week. Regretting not getting away earlier in the summer now. Might have to give serious consideration to Poland instead.

Greece down to 207 today, little bit of positivity. If my maths is correct that puts the 7 day rolling figure at 1719 cases, 16 per 100,000. Main problem is the first two days (7th and 8th Sep) was 139 and 169 respectively. That means if the next two days case numbers are higher then Greece...

Yeah definitely if it continues into next week. If my maths is correct.. a week of 300+ cases per day average will put it above the threshold. I think you're right about Poland, it looks like the safest option at the moment in terms of not being cancelled.
